We need false duplicate appeals

I don't get how a building of much smaller size and over 300 m away from an existing one can be rated as a "duplicate", just because it partially shares the same name and purpose. We need a fast way to appeal this as a whole, not just a request to remove the incorrect photo. The candidate should either be approved and added to the games manually, or put back into voting.
Not to mention that the reviewers who don't pay enough attention should be punished and the initial Wayfarer test doesn't take this issue too seriously either. It's a waste of time to have to resubmit in such a case if everything (photo, title, description, location) is absolutely fine.

Agreed, I just had a nomination marked duplicate of a building two doors down that has an entirely different name and looks distinctly different. Now I have to go get the wrong photo removed and try again because reviewers we're not doing their due diligence?
In addition to appeals of falsely flagged duplicates, when the duplicate ruling is overturned they need to include a suspension of any account that marked it a duplicate.
Even if a nomination is rejected as a duplicate, it is still a rejected nomination and Niantic has made it clear that they will not be handling rejected nominations.
The problem is that it's adding photos to the wrong portals too. I just had a downtown gazebo marked as duplicate when both are easily seen on street/satellite view and a block apart from each other. It's blatant laziness.
I sent in a photo appeal, and while gathering info, noticed that the portal with 3 photos has 2 photos now from the one I was trying to nominate.
