According to NianticCasey, a wayspot whose current location is more than 10 meters from the correct location should be reported for deletion. That's exactly what I did - and the deletion was rejected. I cannot apply to move the wayspot because the location is more than 10 meters away!

As you can see on the Streetview from JUNE 2017 (!!!), the Wayspot has been in a completely different place in the zoo than it was originally for more than 3 years.

Where did you hear that they should be deleted? There's an announcement for this here to use a form to get those moved. I've submitted a few via the form and they were moved within a week or so
That was an official statement from Casey that can also be found here in the forum. The form was only made public afterwards, but I cannot provide any evidence like the photos there, so this move of the wayspot has to run through the forum.

Could you link to where Casey said that? Also you can provide photos, you'll just have to provide links in that form. Only downside is they don't reply if it was accepted or not.
The link to the comment is in my previous comment. I am familiar with the form, but I will not first upload the images somewhere and then insert a link in the form that probably no one will look at. Here I can upload everything compactly and get feedback. The movement of the Wayspot goes far over 10 meters and the wayspot has been extremely far from the correct location for over 3 years. I ask you not to comment further. It should remain clear for Niantic. I hope the Appeal is finally approved.
