Recently Casey stated that the wayfarer team removed some wayspot in a beach because it wasn't safe due to the tides, so I guess that in the same way this can't be considered a safe location.
if they are part of an official hiking trail, I would not consider them as safe.
Did you mean to say if they are NOT part of an official hiking trail?
