The Waypoint is gone in Pokemon Go because of the Edit.
I submitted this Pokestop and took the pictures at exactly this point you can see on the Screenshot.
I moved the waypoint back when i didn't know about cells and stuff, just to make it more accessible, because the current location is technically still the Sportplatz, but would i have known that the Waypoint gets removed because of it, i would have not edit it.

its not you, niantic did this weak only 4 or 5 appeals, just scroll a bit down
Nia isn overwhelmed with (my and others) fake POI appeals^^
I'm curious to see how Niantic deals with this kind of appeal. My guess is that unless the old location is significantly superior they will not revert it. But they may prove me wrong!
As a note to the OP, @flrindigo-PGO , niantic doesn't even want us to know the cell system exists and will not openly acknowledge it does. I wish you luck though.
I don't have much hope, but it's weird, because the first edit got accepted before they disabled the edits in june, but it never moved!

but why tho? tell me about the criteria it has to meet to get it back again. this just feels like some kind of punishment for editing.
Niantic only accept Wayspot appeals if the current location is not accurate and the proposed location is accurate. If neither of those conditions are met, there is no move. They may move a wayspot to a more accessible spot that is also accurate, but I have yet to see them actually do that.
yeah, but both locations are correct. it wouldn't hurt them to just move it back. it may be more accessible now, but nobodys playing ingress here so it's just a wasted waypoint. that just doesn't make sense. i guess i'll just stop reviewing and submitting new stops.

Niantic only overturn Wayfarer decisions when they are incorrect. If the current location is correct and determined to be the preferred location by reviewers, Niantic has no reason to overturn.
see that's your opinion, but i think they should move it back. i live in a pretty rural area and we don't have a ton of stops and it makes a difference when one is missing.
It's not my opinion. Niantic has already rejected your appeal and I simply explained why. If you cannot accept that, then that is entirely on you. But Niantic will not overturn this result regardless of how much you pleed.
yeah, it's all good. wayfarer is just frustrating sometimes. i guess i have to live with it.
