New pokestop

Ok so I added a new nomination which was accepted months ago. It is not in the same cell as the other portal which is close by nor in a distance <20m. It hasn't been added for some reason. Not in Pokemon Go or Ingress. What's the deal? Is there an other rule that Im missing?
Answers
If it never showed up in Ingress it wasn't approved for one reason or another. As stated in the email they might not show up even if approved.
What was submitted?
How sure are you that it's further than 20 metres? This sounds like a classic case of "too close" to me.
It was a fountain. It used to be near an other stop in the same cell but I edited it 3 times so it can move out of the cell. I dont know if theres something wrong with the sync
Wait, so it's not a new nomination, but an existing portal that you moved to a different cell? And it disappeared from Ingress, too?
It might just be that I haven't had enough coffee today but I still don't feel like I fully understand the situation. Could you please write a step-by-step of the things you did? Maybe illustrated wit some screenshots?
Yes sure. I did this almost a year before. It was when I started nominating in pokemon go.
So
1. I nominated a park. After a while it got accepted
2. I nominated a water fountain in the park. After a while it got accepted too but ofcourse it wasnt added in the game due to same cell and very close distance.
3. I edited the park so it can go out of the cell. The stop is still in the park but in an other cell. I did this 3 times to achieve my goal.
4. The distance seems quite far now but nothing has appeared. Not even in ingress which is not that strict
OK, I understand now.
The fountain, even though it was accepted, never made it into the database because it was too close. As far as any Niantic games are concerned, it doesn't exist. You need to nominate it again, and if it is accepted again, now further than 20 metres from the "park" PoI, it should appear normally.
Is there no other way?
No. Unfortunately PoIs that are accepted but are too close to existing ones are basically automatically dropped, so they're not there at all. They have to be nominated again to appear in any games.
Oh ok. I will do it again! Thank you!
But, if you place the pin away from the actual POI just to squeeze it into a different cell then reviewers will probably move the pin to the correct spot. Niantic say pins should be on the POI, moving gyms by repeated edits into a new cell is Abuse.
No not really. It will be very accurate. The park pokestop as I have already mentioned was moved but it is still inside the park and the actual location of the fountain is in a different cell. So there will be no problem I hope!
