Volleyball or Tennis Fields with Netless photos?

If a volleyball/tennis field did not have a net in it's photo, would it still be an eligible wayspot?

Does it look like a volleyball court? Is there clear demarkations on the ground from satellite? If it's simply an open patch of grass, then no, it's not a volley ball court without anything to mark or indicate it.

No, latest guidance is that the wayspot needs something physical to be tied to. If no net then is there any signage or clubhouse or similar

Yeah, with tennis courts there's usually less of an issue because there's usually a whole court with floor markings, caged off area, etc. With volleyball courts, it's usually just the two poles and sometimes a sand pit when a net isn't up.
Last guidiance was based on the Wayfarer Site Launch.
Per Potentially Confusing Nominations section.
Athletic fields - Eligible, as long as they are publicly accessible. If the fields are marked by signs, submit the signs as Wayspots. Also, ensure that the Wayspot appears to be at least 40 meters away from a private residence.
A net can be taken down by maintenance personnel. Doesn't mean the field doesn't exist.
If the poles are up and it’s clearly a court, but the net has likely been taken down for the winter, say, I’m fine with that.
I have seen some volleyball nets go up for summer and disappear in winter. This aero recall is a bunch of sand in a park that is surrounded on all sides with grass and clearly has no other place being there because of it being so big would be acceptable without the net/poles.
Maybe find a article saying it was there and it’d definitely help the nomination.
If there's no net and no markings... does it really exist?
Without the net or markings, it would be hard to prove that it does exist.
Some smaller parks have pop up volleyball setups that are removed as people use it. Doesn't mean people in the loocal community don't go to those smaller parks that are open fields to play. I think it would depend on where we are talking about if it has no net or markings. A park, yea it maybe likely locals setup a volleyball court. No nets, yes maybe winter they are not up every day. I think locals should have more say in submissions during reviewers than others. Because locals are the ones who live in the community.
