Forum Bug? Cannot post anything at Location Update Request section

in Report a Bug
From the past days, I noticed that there's no new threads in Location Update Request (to edit Wayspot location over 10m) section since September 30. However, I've also noticed that such requests were posted into Location Edit Appeals section instead.
And when I'm about to post a request in that section, I noticed that "New Discussion" button in that section was gone:
@NianticCasey-ING can you tell us if that's a bug or "intended"? Or, such requests must be posted at Location Edit Appeals section instead now?

What are you trying to post?
Location edits were turned off for part a month for Niantic to reevaluate how to handle them. Their response was to only allow the player base to request edits 10 meters or less. Edit requests for more than 10 meters used the forum thread you are referencing. After a few weeks of ingoring posts, then a few weeks of incorrectly denying them all for being the "wrong format," the channel was closed and Casey released the "form" that we must now use to request location edits that are greater than 10 meters. The form, by design, does not provide the user feedback that the request was received or that the request was processed and accepted/denied. As such, there is no currently known way to appeal new location edits greater than 10 meters.
So... If you're looking to appeal a location edit made through the game, use https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/categories/location-edit
If you are looking to request a location edit through Niantic where you will not receive feedback, use http://bit.ly/LocationUpdateRequest
Thanks for flagging @patsufredo-PGO, at the request of the team handling these appeals, we made the call to streamline this process a few weeks back:
Requests to update a location more than 10m should be submitted via the form at http://bit.ly/LocationUpdateRequest.
It's not really streamlined, though, is it? Since there's no way to appeal or even know if your request was reviewed.
I hear you @Gendgi-PGO and trust that I have brought (and continue to bring) that feedback to the team.
The process is streamlined in that there's a single path to submit these requests and less confusion for the team processing them, that's not to say it's the perfect solution.
Forgive me if I'm making assumptions about your role within the group, @NianticCasey-ING, but you strike me as a well qualified project/team manager with the responsibility of communicating between the reviewer community and the developer/QA staff. Someone in that role, either you or another member of the group, would be well positioned to be asking for metrics from the team maintaining that form.
It would not be hard to collect some very basic metrics from the Google sheet behind the form:
More broadly you could help your team by having them share feedback on how we can use the form more effectively. Broad questions like:
Taking this information from the review team and sharing it back with the reviewing community would be a valuable service to the people you're asking to use this form in its current state.
So... Is there a way we can "appeal" an edit we believe was denied, or should I just keep submitting the same edit request weekly?
