Wayfarer reviewing location nowhere near Home or bonus

Does anyone have an issue with seeing local nominations. I know of a few players who are submitting items in the borough and surrounding boroughs but I end up seeing nothing but nominations from the Midlands, Essex and west country, even had ones from Scotland and I'm based just outside west London
What is the point of setting your home/bonus location ?

Your set location is based in lvl 6 S2 cells i believe. Im in north-Germany and get submissions from sweden to Austria. In total, I am getting submissions from 10 nations. You cant get submissions from your home location only.
Upgrades get a much bigger radius for approves, it’s possible a lot of them are upgraded.
Interesting theory on cells although I just checked and Iv had many way out of my own cell, just seems strange that other reviewers I know get local ones but mine are always 100's of miles away
I assumed the reason you put your home location down as it says It influences your nominations
Another interesting theory I wonder if the cell level changes on nominations, very insightful indeed 😎
