Does anyone ever use their 56 Photo Submissions per fortnight?

Discussion title. Since moving to Ingress Prime, photo uploads were capped from an infinite amount to only 56 per fortnight. The distance of submitting new photos was also limited to a 100km radius. Not that the distance mattered too much.

Didn't know whether to include this in the Ingress Forums. But does anyone else have the same situation where you use up all your photo uploads and you might end up having a backlog of submissions to submit the following fortnight?

Mind you although I do play Pogo as well, there is no attribution in their photos (in Ingress, photos submitted by Pogo users appear as Unknown) so there's no point in using Pokemon Go uploads. I think tying in a Niantic Social profile with photo uploads might be interesting, but Pokestops and Gyms should credit the original user if they go into the details screen.

Prior to portal scans, I submitted photos on the odd occassion that I noticed a portal needed a better photo.

Now that I am focusing on portal scanning, you have to locate the portal and observe it for a short while. This gives a greater appreciation of the POI and you take more notice of the details of the photo, title, description and location accuracy. Since I use up my 200 scans a week, I visit a lot of unique portals and will submit photos where the quality can be enhanced. So I regularly use up all my 56 photo submissions during this process.

Rarely I'll save the photo for future submission, and that only occurs if the current photo is really, really bad.

Interesting question, it would be good to see how many others submit lots of photos.

I often use all of my edits in one day, also, I am adding new photos occasionally. Sometimes, I really use all of them in one day. In special in a big city based on POIs of the early days of Ingress.

    Back to this conversation.

Regarding the photo bug about photos being approved but not accepted in game, I would absolutely love to just reupload and get all the photos that never synced in-game actually IN the game. It's a few months' worth of photos which is annoying, but the fact that this 56 photo limit is introduced is annoying, so I will probably spend many fortnight's worth just uploading up to this day, and then backtracking and finding the ones that were approved but never synced properly, so I can just reupload them.

Considering that is radio silence from Niantic regarding this bug and whether they will backfill and resync previously approved photos which is truly annoying, I would really like to request more photo submissions available. Doubtful that anyone actually hits the limit as much as I do, and any sorts of abusers would be quickly identified.

I would not be the least bit surprised if one of the local bay area players does. This player has a years-long habit of taking the worst photos he possibly can, uploading them, and then using multiple accounts to upvote his horrid photos to be the main. For a while I thought he was just a bad photographer but eventually I realized that it wasn't possible for anyone to be consistently bad without putting a lot of effort into it.

Our locals keep an eye out for them and upvote better photos, and also screenshot some of the worst. We've found clusters of his horrid photos hundreds of miles from home. Player review of photos seems to make him less effective. I'm pretty sure I've run into ten or twenty of his photo edits and NOPEd the heck out of them, and when I've checked a few later his photos didn't make it into the games. (YAY!)

I've blanked out his name and uploaded a few examples of his truly impressive handiwork. I would love to see how many he uploads in a typical week but I'd bet money he's hit the cap at least once.

Oh God, these are horrendous as hell. For the most part, these never should have made it live anyway, so when Niantic was doing the photos approval, yeah it was extremely hit and miss, reject a lot of nice photos, accept the worst or even irrelevant of photos.

I am glad about player review of photos. Almost all worthwhile photos exist and get approved now.

Recent photos submitted by Pokemon Go users are attributed in the Pokemon Go app, visible either in proximity to the POI or through Gifts: just bring up the POI details, Click the Less Than sign to expand, click the numbered photo box in the lower right corner, then click the specific photo to enlarge. I do this all the time to see who submitted new things if I don't see the attribution in Ingress.
