Apparently just any anime poster is worthy to be turn into a POI for some people...because sadly~ this is not the first time I see this kind of nominations 😖
...thoughts about this one?
they say it's valid as original/unique iron sculpture but to me it's just a trash holder in front of a house...
I like that one. It is not extraordinary, but it is a little bit quirky and makes you chuckle. I would have upvoted that one, especially after 5 playgrounds and crosses in a row
I see, I understand what you mean.
But my concern is, what would happen if 🤔 whenever you pass by this to spin the photodisc you are greeted by a pile of rotten garbage with shattered bags (having in kind that it's pretty short at any animal reach)...would it be a nice wayspot anyways? Plus, it's not really THAT unique after learning that this kind of trash holders are becoming trending in some neighborhoods...
This one seems good for me.
It's not on a private propriety, and it's original. And it seems permanent.
If you want niantic to take any kind of action with the peoplewho submit those bad nominations. Do not block the address they need to see it
I saw on earlier posts here that users blocked the addresses and I thought I had to do the same before sharing... then I found out that some didn't do it, but by then I've already deleted the screenshot from my main gallery 😭
Edit: I found them, thanks to the whatsapp shared image folder ~ bless the discussion group 👏⭐ I'm gonna quote my first and share them properly. @Jtronmoore-PGO Thanks for the advice!
I've rescued the screenshot without the full addresses blocked and some others, hope this helps. Sadly not all submissions provides numbers for more accuracy...
Well, I could either reject this as "1* - meets no criteria", in which case the submitter gets no real feedback, or I could report it as "1* - Abuse - Spam", but I'm not sure if anything ever happens to those subs when I press the button. OTOH, if I post it here then there is at least a chance a Niantic Mod might actually see this and at least drop the submitter a quick e-mail.
From the criteria pages - "If we believe you are spamming nominations inappropriately, you will receive a warning and may lose nomination privileges for repeat offenses." I'm getting tired of seeing stuff like this for review, so i am wondering how many warnings Niantic are sending out? I did a quick count last night when reviewing, for "standard" submissions my accept:reject ratio for subs at the moment is 1:10. Not sure what Niantic can do about this, other than offer some more detailed guidelines for a few key things.
Didn’t mean to type a blank comment. Oh well. What I was thinking of asking was if @NianticGiffard or someone similar can do a monthly or a three month check in on this thread for the coal submitted to take the relevant actions on submitters?
Supporting Info - As players who catch & grind daily, we live ruraly and have no stops within distance. The nearest is a 10min walk in other direction to our usual travel. We would benefit so much from stop/gym here. Previously we have requested the bridleway across from us. I saw rural residence
If no action is taken on this one, I’m not sure what needs to happen for action to be taken.
I'm assuming this one appeared on your screen recently?
I had this same house for review on December 15th last year and gave it a 1* PRP rating, so it appears to have been resubmitted - the supporting text is different in my one. Looks like the submitter has not interest in complying with criteria. Time for a "stern e-mail" perhaps, or something more?
Omg. This is truly awful and sad for all the people who really put effort and submit real and interesting stuff with good writing + true/accurate supporting info about it, not just a straight to the eyes babbled tesis about why it should be accepted for the only reason that they don't have anything as close as right in their house...or even worse, those that only write "because there's no pokestops near" / "I need a gym near"...
Hopefully this person might stop submitting their private residence after a full round of turns down...
Title: "Tres cisnes" (Tree swans) , supporting info: "tree swans as last resort... an art piece"
Title: "techito con palmera" (little rooftop with palm tree)
😅 reason in the supporting info? "area unprovided with pokestops"
And this one blatantly wrote "my sweet home"
Oh~ and another brilliant add to the thread: "fondo colorado" (red background) supporting info: "many people pass by, it's needed"
And this is just a minimum amount of all the bad submissions in just 30min, like seriously....they pop up non stop one after another, I'm afraid to get a cooldown due to consecutive 1*...
having in mind*
Got to admit - "safe pedestrian access" 🤣
"Picture of Pope Francis"
"When Pope Francis came to Paraguay"
Nailed it! Haha
This is hilarious
These are past ones I reviewed
if you want to censor the adress, maybe use a different pen or put two lines on it. You can still see the address of the first one :)
Good eye lol you can probably see all of them
...When you say "past ones", do you mean these are the only "home nominations" you got to review? Because if so, I'm tremendously jealous - I usually see several each session. If I shared all of them here, I probably would've been banned for spamming!
@SiIverLyra-PGO these were just ones i reviewed in the past & took screenshots of because they were so stupid lol I normally screenshot the real
good ones & share them with friends
Ran into these today
This one was dumb until I realized it was a fake. The wayfinder who submitted it needs punished honestly. I realize now that I forgot to censor the addresses. These wayfinders knew the risks when they submitted these though so the fault is all theirs
