Language issues due to close to france!

Hi Guys and Girls,
i have just started being a reviewer and enjoying it.
Due to the quirk of my location on the english south coast we are only about 30 miles away from the french coast. This means alot of my review requests come up in french!
I have tried skipping all the french ones but now it seems im blocked from skipping? Any ideas would be great?
PS hometown is all set up correct

Use google translator or the "translate" buttons added by WayFarer+ (3rd party software, you have to decide whether you want to use it or not), which do the exact same.

the issue is even with translate alot of these could be town halls ect that do not translate well in google? I feel like i reject alot more french than english ones because of it! Just dont want to get marked down ect.
I normally have to just rate on the picture if I donot understand the text, but also skip if I donot understand anything. Every country has its own culture but there are similarities everytime. But I can totally understand you.
Dude. Don't reject something just because it's not in your first language, at least 3-4* the description if you don't understand. This is not cool. I live in Quebec so when I upgrade my stuff, it gets sent to U.S.A or English Canadian province so your comment might explain a lot of weird rejection...
Im not rejecting it on purpose i feel like when you get the description and it badly translates to “a house” ect it doesnt really add alot to it. I think there should be a language setting on submissions and reviews.
You just have to rely on Google Translate. There are several browser extensions you can choose from to translate text. I get nominations form Mexico and Porto Rico all the time even though I am thousands of miles away, but I am generally able to evaluate them thanks to Google Translate. It is very rare for me to skip a nomination in another languag, and usually it is because of very poor quality satalite image and complete lack of Street View (which surprising happens more often in Porto Rico than Mexico).
I get tons of these too, I live in the South East, luckily my son takes French in 6 form! But sometimes I just google translate to give me the idea of what it’s saying. It annoys me the most that the french don’t seem to ever use capital letters
Well.. to be honest as a French canadian, it annoys me when I see English titles that capitalize every single word. When French writers do that, it's almost always a clickbait article and it breaks French grammar rules. However when I see nominations from English canadians, they don't see to capitalize every single word.
