I've looked around but I couldn't find another topic about this.
Is there a way to get the reviews you gotta do a bit closer to home? I filled in the place where I live.
It's not that I'm wanting to approve everything; but I know more about the towns around mine than one from the other side of my country, or some even abroad.

Your chosen location and where you play set the location center of your reviews. If a nomination is upgraded it goes out to a broader base, so even though I am in the Midwest US, and most of my reviews seem to come from my state and other states around me, I do get a fair amount of nominations from Central and South America and across the ocean. That's just the way the system works.

It's rough sometimes. I live in the Netherlands but sometimes I get German or French stops to revieuw and don't understand it xD
In europe it's not uncommon to get submissions from 5-10 different countries. You can skip or give 3* to title and description if you don't understand it.
Also "deepl translator" is pretty good. (Better than google translate in my opinion)
