why is it taking so long for submissions to be approved?

Recently, the system is taking so much time to complete the process of approval/denial in submissions made. I have submissions still in the process, since 05/11, our community is very active in voting process. I think something is wrong in wayfarer. @NianticCasey-ING what's happening with the process?

The time it needs harshly depends on the location you submit. In areas close the oceans, its way faster while it takes a lot more time to get something accepted in the middle of a country with big cities. I have to Upgrade everything er wait for 18 months until my submissions are getting accepted/rejected.
first at all, 21 days are nothing. My litle priority area changed from 2 weeks to over 4 months (still no final decision). My home area needs 18 months +. Thats also very sad, but you cant change it. I have to upgrade every single nomination. You should be happy about that you have priority. If I were in yous situation, I would be happy^^
because Niantic wants you to review submissions, so you earn an upgrade, so you can upgrade your own submission that it goes thru quicker.
Lots and lots of reviewers have probably quit or paused WF since the April changes. They went into red status for reasons they didn't understand, and just left. This happened in my local and regional WF hubs, at least. I have to go to national level now to discuss WF.
We were down to days for getting an answer for a nomination, now it's weeks or months.
so much garbage poi clogging down the more serious submissions.. i give up
21 days compared to 3-4 in normal cases? well if this are nothing to you, for me it's a serious problem in wayfarer system. could it be 2 cases, a bug or people leaving because the garbage incoming every day. I don't like nothing, spending time in voting with 3 different accounts, submitting things to get in limbo, so disappointing. Around 30% of portals in my city were my creations, I think Niantic could give just a little attention to POI creators.
still something I would apreciate, use upgrades like every other wayfarer I know. The system is getting slower because of wayfarers like you making use of priority and not review, because they dont need to to get their stops reviewed^^
Im not defending Niantic, there are a lot of problems with submissions in a limbo. But when you use upgrades, it normally gets reviewed in 24 hours. If you only have to submit and not need to review, nobody would review. That would **** the system. Nia told us "to use upgrades", so I am reviewing and make use of my upgrades. Its that simple. No reviewers = longer waiting times.
You do realize that using multiple accounts is against the ToS?
Wait until you see someone in this forum has waited for more than 1 year that his/her submission hasn't yet been approved/rejected.
Maybe you've been flagged due to the usage of three accounts.
@NianticCasey-ING Is that possible? Does the system detect people that use several accounts to upvote their own nominations?
