Russia Challenge Killed My Upgrade

I have a nomination that was upgraded around the same time as the Russian Wayfarer Challenge and is now stuck! The nomination was already in voting when the upgrade was applied on June 16. That is 22 days ago! I have have earned upgrades since then and those nominations that had a upgrade applied since have reached a decision within hours. Yet this one from June 16 is still in voting...
Can this please be looked into?

Got to love the radio silence from Niantic when it comes to issues on their end...
Same situation here. In my area upgrades are the only way to get a nomination through. Once upgraded they usually are approved or rejected within a day. I have one sitting for several weeks now.
How do you access the nomination ID ?

As mentionned on a other feed, the proposition is stucked since 2021-06-17, while more recent for upgraded and approved.
Mine got finally accepted yesterday after 3 weeks of upgraded voting.
Well mine is still stuck after a whole months.
My nomination now has been upgraded for an entire month! Upgrade was applied June 16. It is now July 16. This upgrade clearly did not apply.
@NianticCasey-ING @NianticGiffard Can somebody please take a look at this nomination and figure out why after an entire month of being upgraded it still hasn't reached a decision?
The upgrade is applied, the upgrade queue is just overcrowded. There are probably hundreds of upgrades ahead of you. Your only solution is to wait, it might take a few more months until its resolved.
Is that hard to read the contents of others messages? We all got several upgraded nominations validated in the meantime. I had 5 of them. There is a temporal window where upgraded nominations are gone into limbo.
Well, the point is there are different upgrade queues for each cell, obviously if you nominate things in different cells, the remote ones are going to be faster, upgrade or not.
I have had at least 2 other noms in this same area upgraded then accepted mere hours later but not the one nom that is stuck.

Same. And again we are a lot to report this issue, in the exact time window.

Are they though? I can get an upgradeless submission through faster in an empty cell compared to an upgraded one in a populated cell.

I too have an nomination that seems to be stuck. I had an upgrade get applied randomly to one of my nominations even though I wasn't close to earning one. It's been about a month since this nomination was upgraded, yet it is still in voting. I don't get it.

I also had this issue but I think it’s not issue, just inflation.
After the challenge people got tons of easy upgrades so the system was full of them. If everyone has upgrade then actually no one has upgrade because upgrades are just a way to prioritize.
After most had used their 10 reward upgrades it became normal again.
I thought that too at first. But I have since had several other nominations upgraded and accepted. Yet this 1 nomination that was upgraded just before upgrades from the Russia challenge were awarded is still in voting. If the issue was only because of the influx of many reviewers earning upgrades, then it too should have already reached a decision. It makes absolutely no sense.
I have two upgrades till in the queue that were upgraded before other ones that have already gone to voting and been approved.

I fear that they are stuck because this has happened before. I had some of my first nominations in late 2019 upgraded, and stuck for 6 months!
Also, some members of my PokémonGo community have reached out to me and stated that they have nominations, with upgrades, stuck as well from around the same time. I worry that this is a bigger problem that needs to be looked into.
