Portal wrongly removed: Malicorne - Chêne pédonculé
Title of the Wayspot: Malicorne - Chêne pédonculé
Location: 47.811965,-0.097091
City: Malicorne-sur-Sarthe
Country: France

Additional information:
This portal was removed some days ago. We believe that the reason was "unsafe pedestrian access".
This POI was a panel that explains characteristics of pedunculate oak, for walkers. It's located along of a hiking route (see images 1 and 2).
The hiking road is in asphalt because there's a house ~300m away. Then it's no more in asphalt.
There are some other panel like this one all along the hiking route. Why would a city put so many different panels that explains characteristics of trees if no one can read it because it's not safe for pedestrians ?
Is it possible to restore this portal, please ?

Comments
Hello,
The grassy side of a road is not considered a pedestrian sidewalk, especially since this asphalt road destines a house and a farm.
A hiking trail can take routes along the roads with cars. This is not proof of secure pedestrian access for Niantic.

Check Street view. Then, you can see there is no car ban sign or any sign or barrier can confirm this road is for pedestrian, is just a classic road
