So they are giving up, dont want to talk to me anymore, and STILL arent answering the question as if im asking about it being rejected by voters... "we suggest re-submitting the PokéStop candidate after improving the title, description, and/or photo" Thats NOT the problem people!
I despise in game support, its never any good, just constant copy and paste responses if you ever get by the ai. They should have a complete rework of it. For a multi million dpllar company to have such atrocious support is embarrassing

I "lost" half of my submissions this way, and a couple of friends I'm vacationing with lost ALL of their 7 submissions because of this bug.

Don’t you think you guys should be telling Wayfarers HOW they are to navigate in-game support?
Does each and every customer need to guess the magic shibboleth to raise their issue with your team?
Same issue here. I submitted six before realizing they weren't being confirmed. They better appear soon on my account or have the nominations be reimbursed. 😡
So just an FYI I got a nomination today, and it went through as expected immediately, the nomination though from TWO days ago now (48+ hours) is still missing and spent. So it sounds like the issue was a certain time of day on 7/27.
I am in the same boat as everyone else here. I never received my confirmation email that I submitted submissions, and they are still not showing up on my Wayfarer portal. I know there is some latency usually when they show up, but I know its not more than 24 hours - it has now been 48 hours and still nothing. There is definitely an issue going on right now.
Just to confirm I also used up my last submission today out of curiosity. It went through, email and appeared in wayfarer. Submission from 7/27 still missing. 48 hours now.
The nomination that gone without a trace for two day still missing, but I already nominated from Pokémon GO & Ingress again, both went through and listed on nomination management tab so the problem only occurred during that period of time.
Could it be the problem happened to the server at that moment ?
There are more people effected by this bug as I shared the url of this post to our national Wayfarer page, one person said her friends also encountered the same issue.

Based on the various responses it definitely seems to be a problem focused on a particular time period on late 7/27 UTC, possibly early 7/28 UTC.
Coming up on 96 hours (4 days) and still nothing, no nomination on wayfarer page and submission slot still used. As @DocAngst-PGO said it looks like it's only from late in the day 7/27 that was affected.
Not trying to be impatient, but any word on a turnaround time for this issue? Biggest worry is nomination suddenly appearing and eating an upgrade and going straight into voting without edits first, or if they have just poofed out of existence do we get our submission slots back eventually?
1 week, still missing, still spent submission slot.

Some updates on the situation would be good. Don't just throw us the "where working on it" card, only never to provide a solution or an answer.
@NianticGiffard We're coming up on 10 days now and IDK what I should be doing? Re-submit? Give up? Wait even longer?

Hi, this has also happened with one of my nominations. Is there a way to get it back?
It's been 2 weeks, still nothing. I resubmitted my nomination since we are going to have a ~week pause on submissions... But still in the dark as to what happened and if I will ever get back my wasted nomination....
My nomination that disappeared reappeared yesterday, and was accepted as a wayspot when it did. I submitted one yesterday, and it appears in my nominations as normal.
There is still one nomination I submitted a week or so ago that disappeared and has not reappeared.
This is my fear, because I resubmitted mine since its been over 2 weeks now... And I don't want it to appear and then eat an upgrade and just to be my own duplicate.
@TrevorAlan-PGO Definitely sounds like there was a bug that day. Sorry your nomination is caught up in it.
I haven't had any nominations lost, but I have wasted a couple upgrades with the auto-assign. I would say just keep an eye on your nominations and upgrade the one you actually want upgraded when you get a day or two out -- for me, my trigger is around 80 agreements and then I feel like I need to pick my upgrade so the system doesn't do it for me. I'd much rather upgrade something and maybe nominate something better a couple days later and have to earn another upgrade than have the system arbitrarily assign my upgrade. I think that's way safer than expecting Niantic to respond to each person who lost nominations during this period. I know that it sucks that you can never upgrade this particular nomination, unless you resubmit, which is a bummer, but resubmitting isn't that onerous unless it's a distant nomination (and in that case do you want to upgrade, since you likely aren't there that often?)
The problem is I still have a backlog of earned upgrades and Russia challenge upgrades. I only get a submission slot every 2 days, so if it does reappear in my nominations list its going to get auto-upgraded unless I somehow catch it and withdraw it before then.
I had one disappear on me after showing up on Wayfarer (But was only there for about 30 minutes). It consumed an upgrade then was gone. Niantic Support told me it was a glitch and to resubmit (after about 4 support attempts where they completely ignored anything and gave me an automated response) , but yesterday I got an email saying it was accepted. So even though it's disappeared from your view, it may still be active.
So it's back in my list now as accepted, unfortunately it didn't sync with any systems. So no ingress portal/pokemon stop in it's location. @NianticGiffard Hopefully this helps in your investigation as they may not be lost, but just missing from people's lists. The waypoint was called Junction Village Reserve Cricket Pitch .
Hi @TrevorAlan-PGO it could be possible that the bug only affects some cellphones or OS with a specifically brand? In my case, i've submitted nominatations with PoGo or Ingress account and had no trouble. I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, if it helps you the information
Unknown, but this seems to have been an isolated incident from 7/27 in the later half of the day. No evidence points to a technological failure of phones, something went wrong with the wayfarer system during that time.
I don't believe any other incidents have been recorded outside of 7/27 in relation to this issue.
