Hi, mi nomination got rejected but it seems the reason isn't valid at all. it says that "the photo seems to rappresent a living animal instead of a valid object". Obviously there are absolutely zero animals in the photo, so what could it be?

Unfortunately, only one reviewer has to type that response for it to show up as a rejection reason. Try not to focus on the non sense reasons for the rejection. Did the email also suggest “does not meet criteria?” That was probably the majority opinion
Hi @NianticGiffard
When did you start responding to replies without rejected emails?
The forum is crazy

so what might be the reason? i'd like to improve, and i tought that place was perfect for a wayspot. in a pubblic area, unique, safe to reach.. maybe the photo isn't great enough? i tought it wasn't bad at all
Unfortunately many reviewers will see this as generic or perhaps a mass produced picnic table. Generally a picnic spot has to have a pavilion to be considered eligible
oh, thank you, at least now i have a clue of what might be the problem. i tought the tiled flooring with mosaic could've been enough interesting and unique, but apparently it was not.
For starters, you cannot appeal rejected nomination. Second, a picnic table does not meet the eligibility criteria.
Your nomination seems to meet the acceptance reason of a great place to socialize. I would argue that this doesn't meet rejection criteria. It doesn't appear mass-produced. It's permanent. It has custom tile-work in the patio to spell out "2003".
If I were reviewing this wayspot, I would have reviewed it favorably.
This is completely wrong. A single picnic table does not meet the criteria for great places to socialize. That criteria is specifically for spaces where large groups gather.
The table is inside a park/square. Anyway, I don't think that to socialize you need a big space where "large groups" gather. And even if, there's plenty of space around it, perfectly visible via google maps.
To me it seemed the perfect place to gather around, meet people, explore. I'll try again, maybe with a better photo and description, and hopefully i'll find someone that doesn't look at it like just a generic bench and a table. thanks to everyone for the answers 😊
Focus on the mosaic itself both in the photo and title/description as that is the most unique part here.
Invalid Appeal - Thanks for the appeal, Trainer. We're not currently reviewing PokéStop submissions. Please resubmit the nomination by improving its title/description if you feel that it was a valid nomination.
