^this too
Yes and no, I learned about them after I went searching, but a lot fo the time people don't even know what to look for as to why their submission isn't in game. There's players in my area that still don't know and get confused when i explain it to them
I think the point is more that there was a formula to what went live with PoGo sync. there doesn’t seem to be any pattern to which Ingress portals are getting lost at the moment.
Of the 2 I’m waiting on I'm not bothered about 1 because it’s in a city and there’s plenty of other portals around but the 2nd one is away from populated area, 6 other portals in the village so it’s noticeable that it’s not live
And that is the issue. For us its a bug. And apparently there are "other" checks but no one tells us what other checks.
Had a similar thing happen in my area. Posted about it on the ingress forum.
Buenos días, he recibido una confirmación de aceptación de un portal y en el mapa de Ingress no aparece, se trata en concreto de Graffiti OrasKansOzono.
2 weeks and never response or portail pop, the distance is superior to 30 meters, NIA don't make everything ??
Problem: POI submission approved July 12, 2021, never appeared in Ingress Intel or Pokemon Go.

Thank you for nominating O. B. Nelson Scoreboard Memorial Plaque on Apr 24, 2021. We are pleased to inform you that this is an eligible nomination!
Please keep in mind that not all eligible PokéStop nominations are able to appear live in Pokémon GO, depending on proximity to other PokéStops; however, they may appear in other Niantic games. If you have any questions, please head over to our Help Center for additional information.

thank you for your assistance.
Got another approval. Not live again. Again outside the 20m. I have about 300 open submission. We need a clarification on that. All submissions at the moment are worthless when this continues
Has an old one here too, which i have seen and it's not in both games but accepted.

I also have such a case:
The wayspot "Spielplatz Bärensee" was submitted on 09/13/2020 [ID: URlNHaPVJS+EBhhxXI7duvZWyAZJcvopwS74rDofp64= ] and was confirmed on 08/02/2021.
While the Wayspot went live in PokemonGo, it is nowhere to be found in Ingress.
See also the red "X" [LatLon : ~ 50.15043130770817, 8.953146757624463 ] on the attached Intel screenshot. The next wayspot "Willkommen Am Bärensee" selected there is over 300m away.
Great =( I got another one accepted this morning that is not showing on the intel map. Again, no upgrade. Has to be a clue to the bug source.
I can't pull up the gps coordinates in the current version of Wayfarer.
niantic must say why certain poi accepted does not go live to ingress but other games.
Duplicate post/rubbish forum edit mechanics!!
I have the same.
Nomination did not show up in wayfarer until it was accepted, I had submitted it a second time as I was struggling for signal and assumed something went wrong, so that will likely be duped as the original now shows in wayfarer and likely some Niantic games.

@NianticCasey-ING @NianticBrian-ING this seems to be a common problem in the wayfarer system since it was updated a month or so ago....please put some people onto looking into this issue as it's very frustrating.
We haven’t heard anything from a Niantic rep about this since 6th August and the response then was it should be resolved within a few days. Well that’s 2 weeks ago now and the missing portals still haven’t turned up and more have gone missing since. I’ve not seen a single message that a missing portal has turned up since so can we have an update on this please @NianticGiffard
Sorry for the delay in writing back. We are aware of the synchronization delays being experienced by players and are currently looking into it.
So is it a synchronization delay or are other checks in the background preventing the portals to go live?
I have about 300 open submissions and don't want them to get wasted when it is already hard to get a decision for them.
Same issue here.
POI submitted on 2021-07-21, accepted on 2021-08-06.
Contacted support. Got a reply:
Asked why did it then get accepted and why the email said that I get +1000 AP. Got a reply:
The POI is a histirical palque with information on the house that it is located on. The POI is more than 20 m away from other POIs, but no key, no portal.
I've seen two issues and I am very confused as to what is going on - what is purposeful by Niantic and what is a bug?
For issue #1 I'm not sure if I should resubmit or if resolving the "sync issue" from this thread will cause them to all suddenly appear? If I resubmit will reviewers see a duplicate even though the POI is not on the Intel map?
For issue #2 I'm not sure if resolving the "sync issue" will bring over all missing POI from PoGo into Intel/Ingress.
It's really confusing and frustrating to me. I work with about 6 people to nominate in my community, and we have over 100 submitted nominations. I want them to be in as many games as possible to benefit all players. I'm concerned if I should withdraw nominations until the issues have been resolved and which game(s) our community uses to nominate.
My hunch is that they are creating a new POI database that feeds/syncs down to PoGo and Ingress. Any maybe these issues are all in the sync from that new data store to the Ingress and PoGo POI databases. This idea aligns with recent changes such as the nomination-related emails coming from Wayfarer, and picture upvotes in PoGo. So hopefully once the issues are resolved the POI will appear in all games... fingers crossed.
For my community, we're not submitting any additional nominations, and we're not doing any reviews whatsoever until these issues are completely resolved. We're hoping we can minimize the impact of these issues in case we have to resubmit, or in the terrible case that we're not able to get POI to show up in all games as we'd expect.
[...]" For issue #1 I'm not sure if I should resubmit or if resolving the "sync issue" from this thread will cause them to all suddenly appear? If I resubmit will reviewers see a duplicate even though the POI is not on the Intel map? " [...]
Had this with my own. You see it as existing in the duplicate check list
Had a sub in voting since March, was in the suburbs of city so knew it would take longer. Eventually upgraded it.
Was approved last week. No key and not on Intel. 100% not Proxied.
There's also another version of the first issue you mention, the issue most here are experiencing. (I'll take your wording to describe issue #3):
3. Ingress nominations that are not within the 20m distance of another portal in Ingress are approved (email received), but do not show up on the Intel map nor in Ingress (and no key or AP granted). They *do* show up in PokémonGo and in HPWU though.
I'm hoping that my newish portal from August 3 shows up soon, although it has until now been hit by the "several weeks" delay. That's a new spot in my Microfield area and with a new Unique Portals Visited bonus coming up I'd like to have that new place available! It's spaced well away from other portals and has been in the other games since the first sync but still nothing in Ingress which is where I need it most.
Hey folks,
I understand that the submission is approved and yet, it is not showing up in the Scanner. Even after the review process, the submission might go through some additional automated review, and then it will be made live in the game. If the location is eligible to show on Ingress, then the Portal might show up in a few days.
Thanks,
How long is "a few days"? I have one in my area that hasn't synced to Ingress in 2 weeks and others have had ones they're waiting on even longer.
That's a really out of touch reply. Dozens of people are reporting instances where accepted nominations should be appearing on the scanner but aren't. Elsewhere, Niantic mods have even said there are bugs causing additional delays. Your comment isn't really helpful to the current situation.
We know these missing portals are live in Pokémon Go and many of them are now taking weeks rather than days
But why does this happen suddenly. Never happened before. And without additional info future submissions are worthless and if that is something new it should not be applied to existing submissions
We can thank Giffard for an actual reply.
