Hah! My earlier post even encouraged people not just to blindly latch on to the generic rejection as an excuse for rejecting all of them. I think you are still missing the point that many sections of NCN routes do not match the eligibility criteria, because you keep insisting they do.
Next off, submit all roads with pavements, they encourage exploration too, surely? I would think twice about walking along a busy road if the path weren’t there.
@NianticGiffard can you close this discussion and ideally create a new post ( the other one is too long and complex) summarising the key points with photo examples and then close it. We don’t need further arguments just a simple clear reference post. Thanks
This does not clear it up. You've said generic signs should not be accepted but then accept Rob's generic signs. Lots of these cycle route signs are just road signs.
How is this "acceptable"? Why do you want games full of this junk.

Can agree with that. We have the answer. One thing I would ask is can this be talked about in the next AMA?
Its been a great thread thanks to everyone who's been involved.

All NCN routes match the criteria.
This link is very good.
They make them as safe as possible for everybody to use and explore, exercise.
Can all parties please let it go.
Accept what has been clarified and move on.
It is time to stop arguing.

Agreed
A significant amount of the National Cycle Network are on shared roads with vehicular traffic.
Many of the signs on the network are directional road signs. They are made for cyclists on the move using the road to know where to turn off.
Stopping to spin for pokeballs is dangerous. They are road signs for road users.
I appreciate the discussion on this topic, it had been quite a lively one indeed.
Based on the content and request from some users, I have decided to close this thread for further comments. Thanks for your understanding.
