From what you wrote it seems to be a system thing in the past 24 hours (let's say). I found it strange because this wasn't anything near what one would call an iffy nomination. I thought it was more or less a slam dunk. I'll try again at some point. Thankfully for the first time I didn't use an upgrade.
Your rejection email has the words "health centre" in it. Is that what you were nominating? If so, what criteria do you think a health centre meets?
Blank rejection reasons may indicate that the nomination was rejected by Niantic themselves, although it has been acknowledged that the reason shouldn't show as blank.
The title was in Japanese with the words "health centre" added in English. Its not part of the rejection. If it were then we wouldn't see English in titles in any non-English speaking countries.
Let's not play guessing games with the criteria. The post is asking about why there were no reasons given.
Thinking out loud... could this be because someone who reviewed it moved the pin and it became within the range of another?
I'm wondering because there was a wayspot I made about 70 metres away where someone moved the pin to another door in front of the building. Then this one was rejected. I'd have to know where the pin was placed for the rejected one (they'd have to have put it as close to the other as possible and still be a good placement to even get close) but I'm wondering if that could be it.
My pin placements were fine. I just chose a different entrance than the reviewer who moved it liked.
Thanks. So it seems to be that Niantic looked at my nomination and rejected it. I'll be more prudent with my use of English on nominations in the future. This building is much more important to the community than those two English words suggest. Its one of those things that requires familiarity with the culture.
