Replicated spot. Just to the south is the original spot, but it doesn't work in Pokémon GO. It was duplicated in a different location to prevent cell coverage, and there was obviously an organized vote in the surrounding area to prevent it from being treated as a duplicate.

Firefighting hut. And on the other side is a toilet.
Aside from displaced, fake, and lost items, most of the items raised do not meet the criteria and should be rejected, and the reviewers who approved them as well as the applicants should be severely punished. However, I know that once something is approved, it can't even be deleted.
@NianticGiffard @NianticTintino
Is this what you wanted the world to look like?
Is this the ideal that your company wanted to achieve?
Is this the game where you go around the garbage dumps in each village?
Do you want to build gyms out of rocks and trees?
With the current system, it's easy to destroy anything that doesn't meet the standards there by simply having it approved. You could easily fill up the spot with just street lights, poles, and natural objects. Even wire mesh in the gutters.
That would require a large number of multi-accounts, and Pokémon Go in particular has no qualms about committing that injustice. I have absolute confidence that it will not go unpunished. If you get 20 people in a community, it's as good as securing 50 accounts.
If we can at least review our deletion criteria and make it equivalent to the criteria under review, we will be able to combat abuse. We should reconsider before the whole world is filled with garbage!
Thanks for asking.

Comments
The only things that clearly meet the removal criteria are natural features without signs, (Toriimachi) fire stations, duplicates, closed restaurants, and forest signs. As for the restaurant, if the restaurant was open for business, it is not abuse. You reported 24 wayspots, many of them wayspots that you simply didn't like.
Please, report them using the in-game reporting system. Thank you.
Some of these are just Wayspots that shouldn't ever be accepted during review process. No sign of abuse.
If you're believe they're no longer there please report them in-game first.
You need to report using the correct process. And tone down the drama, please. It's not the end of the world and I haven't got any popcorn to eat while reading these. 😂
You also have zero evidence of abuse. Clearly, the existence of any particular wayspot says nothing about abuse without a pattern and you have ... nothing. Not everything that exists is abusive just because you take offense at it.
@NianticGiffard @NianticDanbocat @NianticTintino
Are these low-quality Wayspots what Niantic is asking for?
We don't want a game where you have to go around a trash can, but if Niantic wants a trash can as a Wayspot, then the world will say that such a game and system is worthless.
The only thing that clings to a dumpster is a fly.
I don't want to be mistaken for a fly and sprayed with pesticide.
And this is a major problem in the wayfarer world these days, as more and more wayspots are being created that are worthless and detract from the value of the wayfarer.
As far as I know, this kind of problem has been occurring for the past year or two.
In Operation Portal Recon, the slightest hint of it was visible from late 2018, but it hasn't manifested itself.
Bad money drives out good.
If this happens, not only Wayfarer, but all of Niantic's games will cease to win people's hearts.
Please do the right thing as Niantic before that happens.
If you are unable to delete a post due to procedural issues, please respond to the deletion request as soon as possible.
I have been requesting the removal of a Wayspot that has disappeared, but recently I have not received any response at all.
If this is a temporary delay due to the transition to the Lightship system, please announce the details.
Hei @NianticGiffard , could you check if this is just another account from MagicalThorn? He had been warned by you for not sticking to the formal report procedure, so he might have just took another account for posting.
Wow! I wonder how most of those weren't rejected by the reviewing community. I'm in Japan and get reviews for wayspots from Okinawa to Hokkaido. I'm getting more that are closer to home now but it's crazy that they got through.
Blame still lies on reviewers for letting the first thing we see... the photo... get past one star on most
Hi, @NianticGiffard .
This statement by @ftzzghzuhdidu-ING is a very different story from the one intended by the OP of this thread and from the discussion taking place in the post by @tp235-ING .
It appears to me that it diverges from the subject matter.
And his outlandish suspicion can be taken as harassment of me and tp235-ING.
Giffard, do you feel anything at all about his excessive behaviour?
It has been escalating for some time now, but his behaviour is a bit out of character, full of suspicion and doubt.
It seems to me that he has been stalking me and several other people for some time.
I am just stunned at what he has done and said.
Could you please give him a few words of warning about his aggressive behaviour?
I would ask you to stop disrupting this thread. You are off-topic and have been warned already about your behavior against the community.
Since OP's posting style is similar to yours, missing rejection mails etc, my concern is valid and it had to be asked.
Also, if you haven't noticed, I was talking to the OP. Read more carefully next time.
If I correctly think about it, I didn't even tag you in my post so you wouldn't feel attacked. You appearing out of thin air shows that you are still stalking me.
@MagicalThorn-ING
As you've done in so many posts, @ftzzghzuhdidu-ING has suspected that something might be wrong, and so he has alerted Giffard so that the Niantic team can investigate and take actions if they find abuse.
If you haven't done anything wrong, you might start to understand how other people might have felt when you accused them of abuse due to nominating candidates that you didn't like.
Do you want Niantic to unify its rejection and deletion criteria? That's not possible.
The rejection criteria consist of items that may change and items that do not. If we unify the rejection and removal criteria, it will be a huge burden for both players and Niantic every time the rejection criteria are updated. Therefore, Niantic has set up removal criteria separate from the rejection criteria and maintains the quality of the map by removing low-quality waypoints to some extent.
@ftzzghzuhdidu-ING OP is not the same person as him. But OP has definitely been influenced.
How did you get such high resolution pictures though?
He must have actually been there to film it. So far he has basically done field research.
What are you talking about?
I wish you'd read my previous threads and comments before you say I'm a multi-account for other players.
I am not a game player whose only ethic is that multi-accounting is the norm. And I am not like those who disguise themselves as agents.
I am an Ingress agent who has loved this game field for 7 years.
I am only interested in maintaining the game field in high quality.
I will not tolerate the use of trash cans as spots like you do.
I also think this comment should be corrected. Interfering with a community discussion because of personal feelings should not be allowed, no matter who it is. And your action is not fair.
It is better to match them in the end. It will, in turn, reduce the burden on everyone.
And you can maintain a high quality environment.
Also, the Wayspot rules have not changed much from the past to the present.
The only thing that has changed is that the quality of the nominations and reviews has decreased.
What has changed is the quality of the candidates and the quality of the reviewing process. As far as I can tell, the quality of the candidates has declined in late 2018, and the quality of the reviewing process has declined significantly over the past year or so.
And as you have inferred and stated about me, I am not influenced by him.
I'm just concerned about the situation where these low quality Wayspots are increasing with or without his influence.
What are you talking about?
I have even posted a comment mentioning that I was talking to OP and not you. Stop believing MagicalThorn's lies. Think with your brain. There was never a reason why I should talked to you.
Also, @SturmRugerLCR-PGO your comment about people who "are sick and need treatment" is rude, abusive and discriminatory against the community. You can talk like that among your friends, but here this is actually a reason to report your post as literal abuse against the community guidelines.
You say "And as you have inferred and stated about me, I am not influenced by him." but you are not the original poster in this thread. The OP is Markov2097-ING. Are you trying to imply that you are the same person? Also, seeing how you read what MagicalThorn said about me and you repeating him without a second though, I would say you also are influenced.
So then why didn't he report the poi on the formal way? That would be the correct thing to do.
The words I wrote are a famous passage from Adler.Maybe he's not so popular in your country.
Unless the Wayfarer team is familiar with the language and culture of all countries where Ingress and PGO can be played, the removal and rejection criteria cannot be unified. Your theory is not realistic.
Let me back up a bit, since the title of this discussion is massive abuse, OP should provide evidence that these wayspots are abusive. For example, if the same person was submitting wayspots for natural features and fire stations, then you can suspect abuse.
@NianticGiffard can you close this thread ASAP to prevent further conflict here?
Hi @Markov2097-ING! We took another look at the reported locations and did not find any abuse. Please follow the abuse procedure and report through in-game in the future.
I've checked and found they are not the same people. I would also advise both you and @MagicalThorn-ING not to accuse each other in the forum which only contributes to toxicity and negates the purpose of having a healthy conversation in the thread.
I will be closing this thread for future comments, thanks for your understanding.
