in voting since 11/20, upgrade isn't helping

I nominated a play park in November 2020. Small village, not much else around. It went into voting after 2-3 days and has not updated since. No one in the local community can recall ever seeing it while reviewing. I upgraded it this week just to get it moving and still nothing, feels like a waste of an upgrade tbh.
I know other people have thing lost in voting for longer, but I'd appreciate someone taking a look at this.

This should have gone through the process quickly even without upgrade.

Have you checked what it looks like on satellite and streetview?
I have had instances where things have not gone as expected and what I have found is some problem causing a conflict for reviewers, and most commonly when there is no issue with the object it is around confirming where it is.
That's what I thought, but then I would have expected people to have seen it and voted on it. No one has. You can see the park on sat view, street view from the road and from a 360 my friend did in the park. There's no reason for this to have taken this long.

@NianticTintino is it possible to look at this it is in a rural area and there is no way this should be stuck at in voting for nearly a year. In addition an upgrade should quickly have resolved it. Something isn’t right.
As of tomorrow it has been upgraded for 1 week. Still no one locally recalls voting on it. @NianticTintino can you please look in to this?

This bears all the hallmarks of a submission going into a black hole.
I don't think I've ever seen an upgraded nomination take more than 4 days, never mind 9. @NianticGiffard @NianticTintino
I see where you're coming from, @LemonCakes7-ING! I've checked your account and can find your nomination "Lochside Play Park" hasn't reached enough votes for a decision to be determined, that explains the reason for it to be stuck till now.
Having said that, Upgrades help in fast-tracking the review process however it follows the same review pattern for a nomination to be accepted. I can only ask for your patience until a decision has been reached.
I'm sorry Giffard, but this doesn't sound at all right to me. At what point do we agree an upgraded has been wasted? I'd rather it was withdrawn that wait another 11 months, but as it's upgraded I cannot withdraw it.
Upgrades can be withdrawn. Is it marked "upgrade next?"
(I do agree with the rest. I don't understand why Niantic won't acknowledge that upgrades are sometimes broken.)
The picture in the original post clearly shows that it's upgraded.

You're right, "upgrade next" is what cannot be withdrawn, I didn't realise. I thought upgrade & upgrade next would do the same. I've withdrawn the nomination. I'll resubmit it at the weekend when I have nominations available and see if it becomes lost again.
