Abusive and dangerous wayspot *displayed on showcase*
Title of the Wayspot: להבות העוז של איתמר, trans. "Itamar's Flames of Strength"
Location: Intel link
City: Tel Aviv
Country: Israel
- The first and obvious thing, the mention of a local player's first name (Itamar) in the title.
- The wayspot's photo has got black bars at the top and bottom - probably a screencap and not an original.
- It is located right between one of the countries' busiest highways, and the adjacent train tracks. Needless to say, an extremely dangerous location with no pedestrian access whatsoever (on ground level, no tunnels or underground passageways). Here's a high-res 3D view of the exact location.
Abuse in that area is the norm and a lot of the nearby wayspots have got real names or personal jokes in them and that's not news to neither local players, me, or Niantic's abuse team. But a wayspot located in the middle of a very dangerous highway AND train tracks, AND featured on the site's showcase - that's beyond ridiculous and unacceptable.
I've obviously reported this via the Google form, but unfortunately I can't rely on that alone.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, @SiIverLyra-PGO! I'll have the report prioritized.
Hi @SiIverLyra-PGO! We have reviewed the report and have taken action on the Wayspot and the Wayfinder in accordance with our policies. While we are unable to discuss our actions in detail to protect the submitter’s privacy, they may include, but are not limited to, sending a warning message, placing restrictions on their Wayfarer, Pokémon GO, or Ingress account, putting their account on probation, or placing a temporary or permanent suspension on their Wayfarer, Pokémon GO or Ingress account. Thanks for helping us maintain the quality of the Wayspots.
It's gone from the map, thank you!
Hopefully in the future there'll be some sort of penalization for reviewers who accept this sort of obviously abusive and/or dangerously located stuff as well - and give it ratings high enough for it to appear on the showcase, no less.
