Lack of Reviewers (Kuwait)

Hello fellow Wayfarers,
As a resident in Kuwait, I get jealous when I see that people in other countries get their nominations accepted in a few days or a week at most. Here in Kuwait, some nominations can take up to a year and sometimes even more. Can Niantic do something about this such as decrease the number of votes needed? Or perhaps some other wayfarer reviewers could put their Bonus location in Kuwait? It's a very small country and if more nominations go through the system fast enough, more stops will be placed, which means more players would be able to enjoy the game.
Thank you for your time!
This discord server has a location swap channel where you can swap with others.
Really? With 1000+ stops and gyms in town, there should be enough reviewers, or at least players enough to become reviewers. If the ones nominationg things also become rev's, they'll get upgrades, which might speed things along. Maybe you can write about this in a local FB group or something?
Unfortunately, not all who submit do review... Same case in my area 😅
It won't let me join.
Still not enough reviewers, possibly. It's still a country in the Middle East, anyway.
To make it worse, its neighbor countries (Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq) are still banning Pokemon GO, so they might be relying on nearby Ingress players to help them review, I guess. Or maybe players from UEA.
works fine for me
Kuwait is a little bigger than a town...? 😂
But I would definitely reach out and/or create social media groups to raise the issue and build a local network of reviewers. They need to understand and get invested in improving their area. Also, be sure you don't actually swap your location with someone! You need MORE reviewers in your area. Actual swapping gets you nothing ... or less than nothing, since the person you might swap with won't know your area as well.
I strongly disagree, our server has conducted very many succesful swaps. Very many people stay active and help with any questions that might be had. Yes, a swap is not for everybody and a location might not be for everybody, but a lot of questions could be addressed before swapping to make sure that it's ideal for you. There's also many people that just like to help out in need areas without asking for anything in return.
Let's say your community has 10 reviewers. You join a discord server to swap two reviewers for another two in a different country. Your community now has.... 10 reviewers. What am i missing here?
Your reviewers still get their local nominations due to the home/current location
And your local reviewers will have already reviewed the older submissions but you will get two new reviewers to see the submissions and hopefully push them over the resolution threshold.
