How can I get a new Starbucks accepted as a Waystop?

We have a new Starbucks in our town. I think it went in sometime in late 2019.
Its address is 27178 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070
If it was added as a Waystop, a good place would be 41.41633, -81.92304
Since Starbucks is still a sponsor, could someone like @NianticTintino simply add it into the game? Or would it be better to nominate it? Is there some sort of "official process".

A generic chain coffee shop like Starbucks is not eligible to become a Waypoint. If Starbucks want to sponsor stops they need to talk to Niantic direct. Don't waste a nomination on it, it will be rejected.
Starbucks has to contact Niantic themselves.
That's a long long time ago, I think that contract has run out a while ago.
Like others already said, Starbucks would have to contact Niantic or pogo directly if it wanted to add another sponsored location and a Starbucks nomination will more than likely be rejected.
However, I have had luck with getting some of the nicer murals in Starbucks accepted. Not every location has them but if this one does, you could try that route!
On December 8, 2016, Starbucks and Pokemon GO became official partners. To the best of my knowledge, they still are.
The Starbucks location I'm talking about was built after the partnership kicked off. It seems like there might be something in place between the two companies to add new locations (?)
Wayfarer has nothing to do with sponsorship deals for specific games.
Starbucks is still a sponsor, however they have not been adding a lot of new locations. You can ask that site or contact Starbucks HQ about having it added. However, nominations made through game must neet eligibility and a simple generic Starbucks chain location will not be approved and will simply slow down other nominations in your area.
There's never been an "official process" given out about adding these locations, but it is not through nominations.

I don’t think there’s been an update on the Starbucks locations since the original deal in 2016. Lots of locations closed since then, even more have opened… seems like it would be in both parties’ best interest to confirm the location data, and update where relevant.
But there’s probably not a lot that you or me or anyone else in here can do about it.
I posted a screenshot just now, but it will probably be in purgatory for who knows how long.
I review MANY examples (this one was particularly bad) of people submitting Starbucks locations. Niantic: Could you please build a note into the submission interface to NOT submit sponsored locations as those are handled internally? It would cut down on a lot of spam.
You could also contact the individual starbucks itself and ask them about contacting HQ themselves about getting a stop. HQ would listen more to the store's manager than a random person.
