Additional information: Please restore this portal. If the request for restoration is rejected, I ask you to at least explain the reasons for the rejection and deletion! @NianticGiffard
I suspect the wayspot was removed because it was on company premises. However, it is accessible to multiple players. And not only easily accessible, but also safely accessible. Take a look at the Google Streetview. There is no danger there. In fact, quite the opposite. This place even houses a museum, which even encourages people to visit this place. If it were dangerous there, that would definitely not be the case.
Proof:
On the first photo you can see a model replica of the whole area. The rest of the pictures show a trophy cabinet and various notices from the museum.
Someone claimed that Lenin was banned as a symbol of totalitarism in Ukraine, perhaps that is also one of the reasons for the deletion of the wayspot. But that's a lie, you can prove that very quickly: Take a look at the street names in town!
The photo shows the streets of the city of Simferopol. And one of them is "Lenin".

Thank you for reading. I ask that Niantic deals with this issue, so I would like to keep the players out and not influence Niantic in their decision. Because as written, if my application is rejected, I would like to know the reasons for it.

Afaik the point with the laws against Lenin-monuments is difficult here, since the peninsula Krim is occupied by Russia for years now. Russia has the executive authority there, although most other countries don't accept the occupation ..... but nothing happens on multilateral stages.
The occupation of the peninsula started in 2014, while the laws against references of the Sowjet-Union-history came in 2015. So in my oppinion thea are a part of this conflict, somehow a counter to Russian actions. And until this conflict isn't resolved, they shouldnt be used as a pretense to report and appeal portals at unpleasant locations for one of the ING-factions.
In fact, if the laws coud be applied at Krim peninsula, this statue would have been removed or somehow changed, how it happened to a Lenin statue at Odessa in 2015, that was turned into Darth Vader (portal link). But that's also a strange idea .... turn a communist into a fictional space nazi ..... intresting choice.
So as long as the Simferopol Lenin statue is still at this place, the portal should stay, until the Krim occupation is resolved and there is a clear answer, who has the authority there.
