When is a Home a Business?
I had not intended to make this nomination, still am uncertain, but want to ask.
If a business that is run from a home, but is a registered business and does a lot online, does that make the location the business is run from, which is also a home, count as an eligible wayspot?
Hypothetically, the image would be the business logo, since HOA doesn’t allow that on the house or yard.
People are frequently in and out of there for various business supplies, stuff for gigs and events, oh and Google Maps registers the location as a business with a link to the website.
I suppose this could be put in through the business application thing on Niantic’s site?
I recently saw a similar nomination and I did not see anything on Google maps making that home also a business, but it reminded me of another.

Home based businesses would never be eligible because the location is still PRP.
What @MelodyS1988-PGO said. For further confirmation of this, if you look into the Niantic sponsorship program for businesses to pay for wayspots, one of the criteria for a business to be eligible for a sponsored in game location is that the business property must not be a private residential property.
If they won't take money for such locations, you can be sure that they shouldn't be getting in for free either.
Rejection criteria overrides acceptance criteria. A relevant business with an interesting logo or sign could be eligible, but private residential property never is. Therefore it’s a PRP rejection.
Thanks for the clarification. The home is used for customers & workers to go in and out, so there is foot travel. The business does have a unique logo but not a physical one.
Thanks again!
