My Rugby Pitch Nomination Is "Temporary Or Seasonal" and "Contains Emoji"

Can you find any problems with my nomination? I thought for sure that a sports pitch was an easy accept. Where did I go wrong? It's clearly visible on satellite view.

Your supporting photo is better than your main photo as it shows more of the rugby goalposts. Your main photo is mostly centred on the sky.
Descriptions are not mandatory, but you should probably include one anyway. Doesn't have to be anything fancy. Your supporting info could also be a little bit more detailed, although it shouldn't require too much detail as rugby pitches should be fairly easy to get accepted.
Okay sure. It was not rejected on the basis of photograph quality though. Seems like a moot point. I assumed - wrongly - people would see it was a rugby pitch and give it an easy pass
Rejection reasons rarely make any sense these days. I had a nomination rejected a few hours ago for mismatched location, despite the fact that it's clearly visible on street view and has existed in the same location since 1999. Was just offering some pointers that might help :)
I could try switching around the photographs and mention how it is use by the local rugby club. Their clubhouse is already a Wayspot. I figured since this pitch is open to the general public (and not fenced off), it would make a good Wayspot in its own right.
If the clubhouse is a Waypoint, then I would flag a nomination for the pitch as well as a "Duplicate".
These rejection reasons do appear to be complete nonsense.
I agree that your images could be improved; they’re both too close. Also, the horizon is slanted in both of them, which in my experience - both personally in my submissions and from reading comments in this forum - elicits ‘low quality photo’ rejections.
