Be careful of submitting new nominations.

Mass rejection is occurring now without any reason. So I would advice not to submit any new nominations for the time bieng.

Of course each of them has a reason: rejected by Niantic internal reviewers. You didn't notice they took your nominations to be reviewed by them (marked by Niantic logo), didn't you?
If you think they did the mistakes and your nominations should be accepted, you can appeal the rejections now.
I don’t think by appealing anything would change. I have to nominate them again either way isn’t it???
Besides they don’t have any thread where I can appeal for rejected nominations.
Really? All my Niantic reviewed ones have been accepted so far.
Maybe if you show your nominations in full in Nomination Improvement, folks here can help you to improve them for resubmission.
It wont help that much , I have to resubmit them again anyway. Most of them need location coordinates via google map, which is impossible if you have an iPhone.
I don’t struggle myself doing remote nomination on Ingress with an iPhone. Just a case of matching location with the photo from my album.
I play Pokemon go so I nominate them through pokemon go. How do you nominate pictures from your album and how do you match the locations then??? There is no such option in pokemon go for it.
You can do remote nominations via pokemon go these days since they have added the ability to select photos from your gallery during the nomination process.
Actually, there is. You can select "Use an existing photo" instead of taking a picture on the spot and you can use any photo from your gallery.
Would it be possible to see the full nominations, with pics and all?
On the German Facebook wayfarer group. There was someone who got a nomination rejected by Niantic. This nomination was perfectly fine. 5* in all categories.
Such cases make me wonder what qualification those Niantic employees have. Donthey speak the language of the nomination they review?
Since when could we appeal?!
Only for nominations rejected by "Niantic review decision", at least for now.
Just “Use Existing Photo” and then on my Photos app, I’ll look up the location of where I took the photo and drag the location marker there on the Ingress/Pokémon GO app.
@ShinyDorkar-PGO You don’t have to resubmit. In fact, don’t resubmit. Post all the details - photos, text, map, rejection e-mail - in the Nomination Improvement forum and tag Giffard. He has overturned several Niantic decisions in the last couple months. This is because Niantic internal reviewers have been terrible. I’m almost positive they were people hired off the street, barely trained, and turned loose for singlehanded rejections with only the barest understanding of the criteria.
Do you know how to geo tag a photo. It doesn’t seem to be a feature in Iphone.
The thread still says you have to resubmit the nomination.
Amazing bad luck that you had THREE rejection mails on the same day saying Niantic internal review decision!!!
You can resubmit if you feel they are fine. I've done that with no changes at all and had them upgraded and pass review inside Japan (where I live).
I'd venture to say that Niantic internal review team is not very worldly and therefore shouldn't be reviewing worldwide unless a member actually grew to adulthood in that country.
If you can make a Photosphere at the POI and upload to Google maps then you'd have a good chance. A lot of my poi are rural and not in Street View. Photosphere has been a savior. Proof that they are where I've placed the pin.

2 days ago, I got ten within an hour. For some reason, Niantic decided to review all of my nominations that haven't been decided yet. They also rejected almost all of them, including some I consider definitely eligible.
I use IPhone, so I don’t think i can do that.
Nah you can. I do it with mine. You just need the Street View app.
I quick search says it's been available on iPhone since 2014 so... it seems you can :)
If you go to "photos" and in "Albums" there is a section called "People & Places". In that go to the album "Places" and it will show you the photos you took with their location.
Another option is got to the photo. Tap on it and on the bottom you will see the "i" option next to the "delete" button. If you select that "i" option and scroll down you will see a map of where the photo was taken. Click on the map and zoom in! You can then use that as proof of where the photo was taken. That is the "geotagged" version in iphones. I have used that for location edit appeals in the forums and you can have a look as to how I did it when you appeal your Niantic reviews.
I agree as my bike route is a live animal, and my golf course is a natural feature😤🤬😡 #NianticHearUs #FixYourGame
This doesn't count as nominations rejected by Niantic internal reviewers. Please blame newbie reviewers who bruteforcing the test.
What do you mean with "newbie reviewers bruteforcing the test"?
Are you stating that up til now there was no nominations with wrong rejection reasons?
Unless you can proof that there's a huge increase in reviewers and that they are reviewing incorrectly, it would be nice if you could stop blaming everything to this change by Niantic.
I'm fully expecting things to go the other way if there is a sudden increase in the number of "newbie reviewers" who have managed to pass the Review test after repeated attempts (or the watching of a "how to do it" You-tube video") when they have no real understanding of the actual requirements and criteria, which leads to more and more "automatic 1* nominations" being accepted "by the community".
Given that the review process relies on the concensus vote of a large number of reviewers, if more and more people vote "incorrectly", then eventually experienced reviewers reviewing "correctly / according to criteria" are going to be in the minority, and their "correct" answer are going to be drowned out due to the volume of "incorrect" reviews.
As the "correct agreement" relies on a consensus vote, experienced reviewers are going to find themselves in the minority, their number of "correct agreements" is going to decline, resulting in a drop in their reviewer ratings. I can't see this being popular with long term Wayfarer reviewers.
I don’t think any of us has any actual data about the changes, and speculation either way is not helpful.
If I was a new reviewer I would feel this was a hostile environment.
@NianticDanbocat @NianticTintino
In the spirit of helping the community and letting us have fact rather than fantasy, would it be possible to have some quick number crunching on…
How many new reviewers are joining - maybe number per week?
What is the average number of attempts at the test?
With the expansion to up to 40 nominations available, has the number of nominations risen? If so how marked is it?
Is the increase in reviewers balancing the increase in nominations?
just some quick thoughts.
