Has anyone else had their Wayfarer completely reset?

So, I've found that I had to retake the quiz to be able to review nominations, and all of my upgrades are now gone. I've been reset as though I just hit Level 40 and am starting fresh even though I am Level 44. My medal for having agreements is even gone. Its very disappointing to start over as if none of what I did before mattered. When I look at my Pokemon Go account it even says I used up all of my nominations and it has been for a few weeks now. Is this happening to anyone else?

In Pokemon Go if you mean the text that says "you've reached your maximum daily Pokestop nominations of 40", that does not mean you have used all or even any. It is just poorly worded. That means you have the maximum you can have banked.
I don't know about the review quiz.
Did you change the email you had attached to the account to one that might have been attached to an account in a different Niantic game?
This is the first time I've heard that someone has had to re-take the quiz. Did you get an email beforehand or how did you even find out you needed to take quiz again?
I think you should contact the Wayfarer Support team to find out what is going on.
Wayfarer account is reset when any game account that is linked to the same e-mail address you are using in Wayfarer is deleted.
So for instance if you ask Niantic to delete your HPWU or Ingress account that uses the same e-mail address that you use to logging in to Wayfarer will cause your Wayfarer account to be reset.
I didn't do anything. I just logged in and it made me retake the quiz and reset me as though I hadn't ever reviewed anything. I had 5 upgrades, and now they are gone. Its very discouraging.
Well, that explains it. I asked Niantic to delete my Ingress account. I absolutely loath that game. I had HPWU but that game pretty much deleted itself. Its too bad I had to lose 5 upgrades because of that, but I suppose that wouldn't have changed my decision. Ingress aside from the rampant spoofing that undermines the entire premise of the game, it also supports some incredibly bad behavior. My experience with that game was so negative that I almost deleted Pokemon Go as well.
I'm pretty sure Wayfarer support is actually just a bot. From what everyone else is saying though, it sounds like Niantic reset me and took away my upgrades because I deleted my Ingress account.
Yep, that is the reason. Unfortunately nothing can be done about it.
Same happened to me when I asked my PoGo account to be deleted so I know how absurd that feels.
