Niantic Rejection on a legit Trail Marker

I've been working on this area for two years now, and I've gotten almost everything in, but I keep finding these trail markers in the neighborhood. So far I've had 6 get accepted on the very first try. It wasn't until this summer that one has caused a roadblock. The first rejection made sense since the sunlight hit the trail marker in a way where it was tough to see. So I went back in October to get a better photo.

But the problem is that the rock has worn over the text a bit so it's harder to see clearly. I cannot get a clearer picture on it because of this, but it does read this:

The Edge and Ponder are two parks in the neighborhood so this rock does promote exploration. Like I said, I've had 6 other nominations like this (4 rocks and 2 signs, both trail markers pointing towards locations) get accepted on the first try. Unfortunately, this has been rejected twice by reviewers and once by niantic.

Just as a reference, these are the rock/sign trail markers accepted on the first try. Some of these were nominated by my friend, so I don't have the Wayfarer photo for them.

Like I said, my best guess is that it's the rock's condition it keeps getting rejected (and was rejected by Niantic), but there's legit nothing I can do to improve the visual clarity on that rock. It's just worn away too much.
