Objects on the edge of private residential property (The LFL question)

Recently, @NianticGiffard made a comment that gave many the impression that an object on the edge of private residential property is a acceptable so long as it is accessible from a public sidewalk or walkway. Since then, there have been several appeals to restore Wayspots of objects located on the outer wall or fence lines of private residential property, all of which have been rejected. Does accessibility matter if the object is on private residential property or does the fact that an object is on the property mean it is not acceptable?

Thanks for bringing this up, @TheFarix-PGO! I am supporting the comment made by you in another similar thread. There have been no changes since then.
This rule also applies to POI inside private properties (not acceptable).
Pivate RESIDENTIAL property = not accaptabe or private property in general?
The rejection reason "Private residence or farm" with the clarification "Use for nominations that are on single family residences or private farmlands." suggests that not all private properties are excluded.
I´m especially interestet in apartment buildings, stuff like zoos, public pools and some athlethic fields which are tecnically also privately owned.
It's private residential property and farms.
The best way to look at it is if the object is in front of someone home it's 99.9% of the time a no. For the most part Little Free Libraries are in front of somones home. So most are not valid points of interest.
Little Free Libraries in communty parks, apartments, clubhouses, and other gathering spots are valid.
This is a CYA position for Niantic. They've been burned with encouraging trespassing once, when Pogo came out. If it's on private property, including on the surface of it, they feel that they can't encourage people to go there.
Never mind that, in many cases, I can physically touch the portal without any legal issues - murals on the sides of private residences, LFL, etc. It's still private property and, legally, they have to take this stance. Especially after the last lawsuit.
Thanks for the follow-up in here (and not forcing us to use a space in the AMA on what should be such an obvious criteria inclusion).
This post of yours has been used frequently in nominations to cite "**important** read this Niantic now says locations in private residences are acceptable" and include the link https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/comment/121121/#Comment_121121. Would it be possible for you to go back and edit the post to be clear that it was not intended to supersede the ineligibility of being on private single family residential property and only to mean objects on sidewalks or public property adjacent to prp are acceptable?
I think this would clear a lot of debate and potentially misusing your prior clarification.
The disqualifier only includes private single family residential property (and farms, but very little has ever been elaborated here). Nominations behind gates are typically acceptable. This includes private gated housing communities, business complexes, and (to your examples) zoos, public pools, and athletic fields privately owned. These are typically great examples of eligible Wayspots.
Certainly! I would not want anybody to misunderstand this particular clarification.
Thank you! We appreciate you going back and doing this!
@TheFarix-PGO you’ll probably be interested in this.
Well, I'm not exactly expecting an apology form the r/NianticWayfarer mod for removing several of my posts on this very subject under the claim I was trying to influence other reviewers. But onr is well deserved.
They've stickied this latest clarification fwiw https://www.reddit.com/r/NianticWayfarer/comments/rdj9jo/giffard_clarifies_about_lfl_not_eligible_if_on/
Which posts of yours got removed?
Looks like my previous post got auto-modded here. So let me try the link again without letting Vanilla forums to auto resolve it.

And here was the relative part of the PM I had about why it was removed.
<<While reasonable speculation and interpretation in fine, using posts made by Niantic to make statements that don't exist in said posts borders on violating the Wayfarer rules of inappropriately influencing reviewers. If you wish to post it again, we ask you to be more clear that this is interpretation of the removal, and not stated fact by Niantic Staff, to avoid spreading misinformation in the subreddit.>>
Judging by the comments, your claims seem false, or at the very least, just assumptions.
Eh, I can get why the mods remove those kinds of posts if there isn't a removal reason listed. @Gabriel0322-PGO used to do similar stuff where he'd twist answers and appeals about stuff to try and prove why whatever he wanted to get approved was eligible. Not that that was what you were doing, but I can see why they'd just not allow it outright.
The translation doesn't go well. Is a house a private house in terms of text? Is it private land? Where does the topic owner's request mean? Please tell me so that you can understand it in other languages
This is the main one:
And this was the response when I asked why it was removed
Hello and thank you for your patience in our response.
Your post was removed because the criteria reason you stated the Wayspot was removed was found nowhere in NianticGiffard's comment.
While reasonable speculation and interpretation in fine, using posts made by Niantic to make statements that don't exist in said posts borders on violating the Wayfarer rules of inappropriately influencing reviewers. If you wish to post it again, we ask you to be more clear that this is interpretation of the removal, and not stated fact by Niantic Staff, to avoid spreading misinformation in the subreddit.
If you wish to inform people that objects on PRP are not eligible, please refer them to the criteria, or clarifications such as the following: https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/comment/121128/#Comment_121128
Be sure to follow the rules of the subreddit and Niantic Wayfarer when posting.
Thank you once again.
