Didn't Pokemon Go just get a huge bump in nomination capacity? It used to be 7 for Pokemon Go and 14 for Ingress, but I heard that they upped the limit in Pokemon Go (haven't nominated with Pokemon Go in a long time, so haven't checked).
@ASHoget-PGO Wayspot visibles or nominations per month ? Please clarify.
If it's wayspot as said in the poll, each games are differents.
Ingress is more Wayspot related, Pokémon have a lot of other game mechanisms (spawns, nests, eggs, PvP etc) that are not related to Wayspots, so more Wayspots will only add more disparity between towns and rurals areas.
Right. Let's drop PoGo players down to the same level of submissions as Ingress has. That would cut down on the garbage flooding into the review system.
Yes, I agree the two should be equal and that if any increases are given in the number of nominations it should be in the game that's been doing it longer, Ingress, first.
Pokémon GO does have 40 nominations now, and Ingress will get the same “mid December”.
If you mean Wayspots, Niantic have mentioned several times that they don’t make that decision. Raise it with Pokémon GO support or on the Pokémon GO forums.
Don't forget the number of "agreed" Waypoint results you need for your top tier badge. I'm happy that the 1,500 "agreed" Waypoints you need in PoGo to get your "Platinum" badge be increased to 10,000 so it becomes equivalent to the "Onyx" badge requirements in Ingress..............
Technically speaking our platinum should be 5,000 to match your platinum, as they're both fourth tier medals and we don't (yet) have a fifth tier of medal. You still make a valid point though.
I've said yes, but I'll explain that they don't been to be pokestops, they can be used as something else, like honey or Berry trees, but they should be in game in some way shape or form, if only to remove any argument about fairness
That would actually be more unfair than the current situation. You don't really need many POIs in Pokemon GO in order to play, but you must have have a large number of POIs in order to play Ingress, or at least be able to traveling several miles/km.
The last time I wrote something about compromises Pogo should make to have the same amount of Pokestops as Ingress does portals, it was universally disliked. No one likes change. Except the 80m interaction distance, that made everyone happy right?
Not everyone, actually. Someone was complaining that he was having access to too many pokestops because of that increase and he was hitting the ridiculously high spin cap limit in PGO. But almost everyone, sure.
I play both games and geniubelly cannot agree any less bout needing more pois in ingress, maybe a coupon of times it helps if making fields or micro fielding, but thats bot necessary for everyone's style of play. Whe I say fairness, I doubt 1% of pokemon go fans think its fair ingress gets virtually everything (it myght even get everything now, as I've noticed portals are appearing even within 20m of other portals), especially as they are submitting these pois and might not get them but ingress players do, no matter how anyone tries to twist it, that is unfair. It would also mean that rural villages where all the pois are in like the town square, so ingress could get like 10+portals, but pogo might get a stop and a gym, try and explain how that would be fair
As a side note, dont really see your point about far away portals, they would also be in pogo.
Whe I say fairness, I doubt 1% of pokemon go fans think its fair ingress gets virtually everything
And it is not fair that Pokemon GO is a lot more playable in a small area than Ingress will every be. But you will never hear Pokemon GO complain nor care about the discrepancies in game play, instead they will only focus that Ingress has more of something they don't have and pretend that them having more of something else than Ingress has doesn't matter nor unfair. It all boils down to selfish entitlement on the part of Pokemon GO players.
So yeah, don't go around caiming that it is unfair that Ingress has more POIs when Pokemon GO has a lot more playable features, many of which are even dependent on POIs.
I'll leave the details of the rules to the Pokémon GO director, but there should be a cooldown system for PokéStop spins and Pokémon catches so that players don't stay in one place and just keep moving.
Those who move more should be rewarded more and those who don't should be rewarded less.
This will reduce the problems caused by players staying in place (a problem that has persisted from the time of launch to the present).
If the above can be achieved, then Pokémon GO and Ingress should be able to show all wayspots.

Do you mean nominations or Wayspots? Thats a big difference.

Yes they did just up pogos nomination limit to 1 per day until they accrue 40 and gave everyone the max of 40 to start off with.
That's a LOT of nominations.
I submit using Ingress whenever I find something I think is eligible, and I have only ever gone over my 14 nominations once.
Pokemon Go players already has more nominations than Ingress players.
I think he means Wayspots. At least he wrote it in the poll option.
Did you not checking the news or something? GO already having more nominations quota than Ingress was happened since last month.
And your country should receive 500+ Wayspots added via Foursquare. Shouldn't you being happier now?
down
they are the same by now (if ingress was already adjusted)...
Isnt active yet.
Kind of a ridiculous question when PoGo trainers get more nominations than Ingress agents.

I dont see the interest of this post eccept to create free fight.
