Abusive duplicating

If you check the satellite view it seems there's two long lanes of identical crosses as a memorial to fallen soldiers, but the wayfinder in question keeps nominating them ALL one by one non stop... correct me if i'm wrong but the memorial shouldn't be nominated in pieces?

Sadly, you are right, the memorial is the place to nominate. The crosses are Not visually unique and should be rejected under this criteria.
It's a shame, the submitter or try to fool us or don't know how to make a nomination. It's sad as places like that deserves to be in the Waypoints and not used for a kind of "I want more pakestap" game.
Yes, the memorial should have been nominated as itself in the first place. But if someone nominated a cross instead, and it went thru, all other cross nominations are duplicates. The one represents the whole.
EDIT: I wish people here would stop declaring "Abuse!" for every little thing. Hanlon's Razor says: Never attribute to malice what can be adequately explained by ignorance.
I'm sorry but it really looks like abuse when someones does 20+ duplicates of identical crosses?...
If the crosses are all nominated at the correct location, I don't consider this abuse. The whole "groups of things shouldn't be nominated individually" think isn't super clear in the criteria, and as for a long time, similar things (like nominating each toy on a playground individually) was standard practice, I can see how someone who hasn't spent a whole lot of time memorizing every small detail in the guidelines could think that it's an acceptable thing to do.
Duplicate them and move on.
Hello @NorfosAlus-PGO! We gave it a look at the reported nomination and did not find any abuse.
how about taking a look at the whole wayfinders account and evaluating their actions in overall?
