Location reset during every submission

It just doesn't matter if it's 10 m or up to 10 km away, it just resets the wayspot location I've picked. Now I can't nominate anything. Doing it again after writing a title and description doesn't help either. I just added to that previous thread - the person i chatted with who has the bug gets a screen telling them to use two fingers to move the map. I do not.
yes 2 fingers change messed things up , it worked before perfectly
yes even if one moves the location wont change ( let alone be picked on the map) , location remains where you were at the time of clicking 'create a new nom' & beginning the whole process of filling up . no matter what you do the location is affixed to what it was (almost as if its frozen in time )

Bump. This problem hasn't been fixed and it's taking way too long now. Why does Niantic have to experiment to arbitrarily break features for some users?
it was working for like a day for me , but it broke again
for just awhile i could do remote submissions , now i just cannot FML

Hi everyone and thanks for reporting this, @Testonoga-PGO! We are looking into this issue at the moment, I appreciate your patience while we're at it.
Had a weird thing happen regarding this issue over the weekend.
I started nomination in a suburb that didn't have any wayspots near me whatsoever, like it didn't load a thing at all. But I couldn't nominate anything because it was still attempting to load wayspots in a place that didn't have anything anyway. But maybe it was also due to the fact that the internet connection was a bit patchier than usual.
Then I moved to the town centre with a couple of wayspots nearby (i.e. within 500m) and it happened to be alright, all in a span of maybe 10 mins. It's could be a connection or a case where trying to submit without any wayspots loading nearby (or none whatsoever) might be an issue? I dunnno.
just to be clear : were you doing remote nominations , right ?
i always use wifi for remote nominations & usually there are stops inside 500m radius , but heres the kicker...
...for me it has never shown nearby pokéstops while nominating a new stop (remote or otherwise) . NEVER . i suspect its being rolled out gradually , idk
