According to the criteria, plazas are eligible to become Wayspot. Is having a natural feature enough to reject them?
Should i improve something in the nomination?

That does not appear to be a gathering space and had nothing artistic or unique that would warrant exploration nor encourage exercise.
It does not appear to meet any criteria.
It's a gathering space in the village, people are usually there.
I guess the photo is not good enough and does not capture it, but I cannot understand the rejection for "natural feature".
Probably one or more reviewers selected that reason to tell you the tree (a natural feature) isn't eligible, and that they don't see anything else eligible here either. I don't think that's a correct use of the rejection reason, but it is what it is.
Well, the rejection reasons are fairly limited, and perhaps reviewers though the best reason from the limited list was "Natural Feature" because this nomination seems to have focussed on a tree as the main item of interest. Personally, I would just go with "Does not meet criteria", it'sjust some paving stones and a tree.
"Your people are usually there" argument could be used for every sidewalk and courtyard in my neighborhood.
As you can see from the (some polite and some arrogant) answers your photo doesn't give the impression of a gathering place or plaza. Take your time, experiment with different angles.
Personally I can see how that tree functions as a shade and as seating area. But honestly it's not an easy sell for reviewers outside of your town. Does the plaza have a name? Any interesting details, for example how old the tree is? Are there any happenings arranged? Anything to show/prove it's signifigance for outsiders?
Plaza X with an olive tree seating as it's central feature. Gathering place for the area/neighborhoud x. Locally known as the location of annual x festival.
Or somethimg similar with actual facts. ;) Good luck.
Thank you very much, @Kellerrys-ING. I'll try with a new angle and i'll try to show more information.
It looks like common infrastructure. Like you chose a place you want a PokeStop, then nominated whatever happened to be here (like the actual plaza is inconsequential).
Show your passion for the place. Tell why this plaza is interesting to people who don't play any Niantic games. Why would you take someone from out of town to there?
