When you complete a nomination. At the select location part of the process. Look around at the area where you have submitted accepted nominations and you'll see the sign will be different to the others in the area. For example I have a park nominated and an igloo. Both show the Pokémon pokestop sign on the map. There's a **** red ribbon sign made of stone on the park as well. This was accepted but does not show in Pokémon go. This nomination has the wayfarer icon showing on the map... This is what I have noticed. I hope it helps

There is no easy way to find a list of all games which have added the Waypoint. You have to check each game to see if the Waypoint is used or not yet.
Unless you play all of the games to check.
