Dance Studio

I've had a local dance studio rejected three times. The first time it was rejected because the picture I used included the faces of performers that are displayed on the exterior of the studio. The second time was rejected under the "Other Rejection Criteria" reason. Most recently it was rejected again under "Other Rejection Criteria" and this time also as a temporary or seasonal display, which doesn't make sense.
I thought this was cleared up in November 2021 to make it clear that dance studios were acceptable as they promote exercise (assuming the studio is not some sort of chain). Can anyone confirm whether dance studios are in fact acceptable wayspots at this point?

They should be, but remember that not all reviewers check these forums or are even aware of them. Did you put a link to the exact comment that clarifies they're eligible in your supporting information?
If it's any consolation, some people are paying attention as we've had a local martial arts centre approved recently.
I did not put a link to the exact comment, I just quoted it. Obviously that wasn't enough so perhaps I'll try again at some point and be sure to include a link to the comment.
"Eligible" and "Acceptable to reviewers" are not the same thing.
Actually, it depends on what you mean by the word eligible.
Anything is "Eligible" unless it fits one of the core Disqualification Criteria like Private Property or K-12. Not everything that is eligible fits the 3 core criteria of Exercise, Gather, Explore to become acceptible. So in that sense you are correct.
But since you didn't say reviewers were wrong, I took your post to mean something incorrect. If by eligible you mean something is a Place to Explore, Gather, or Exercise, then there is NO difference between Eligible and Acceptible except Reviewer Error.
If I misunderstood you meant the later, more than the former, sorry.
Aren’t reviewers supposed to base what is acceptable off of what meets the criteria eligibility? If they’re not doing that then how do they determine what is acceptable. Your comment doesn’t make sense or help with the question.
I’ve submitted these & had them accepted. They mainly meet criteria if they’re public & have classes for the community. They allow people to exercise while also being social with one another. Therefore it could be a good POI. Links to their website helps & possibly a photosphere of the location as well so when reviewers review the nomination they get a better feel for the location & can more easily decide if it is acceptable as a POI in game.
nominated several dance studios several times myself with no luck, probably most of reviewers just don't bother educating themselves and won't bother clicking the provided link...
I believe that’s some of the problem as well
This is what I wrote in mine, which got accepted right after 2 failures just before thread
"Please read this thread with NianticGiffords reply in this thread: https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/25864/exercise-related-businesses-need-a-niantic-criteria-clarification#latest Dance Studios are eligible under the new exercise criteria."
Can you share the details of your nomination with us ?
Maybe there's a way to improve your nomination. Don't hesitate to use the shared intelligence of the fellow wayfinders.
I agree. I’m open to helping anyone out in any way that I can. It betters the games for all of us
