Waypoint may interfere with fire station operations: Terrain Multisport

Hello here,

I received the notification some time ago. I did not take the time to appeal. Here is my request. Please consider it carefully.

Additional information:

In conclusion, access to the POI can only be done through the portals of the fire station. The POI can be a nuisance for fire trucks and is obviously dangerous for the players.

Thanks

When I went there I also had difficulties to access it, even by asking the fire station commander they did not allow me to enter...

and when I wanted to cross the neighbouring private property, I was chased away by the occupie

There are no possibility to access the portal. The access through the fire station is impossible, obviously. The only way to touch the portal is by trespassing into a private property

fire brigades, police stations are not entirely legal but pass in some countries. if you want it to stay, isn't it better to move it through ingress to a safer place? you do not need to approach the portal then. it is enough to have level 12 in ingress and move the portal to another neighboring place in this place so that you can easily turn it from a safe location

Assuming fire stations, police stations, or hospitals are eligible and the POI is placed in a safe, publicly accessible location, it is not a fire station POI. It is a training ground for firefighters. It is approximately placed, but the access is not authorized and especially dangerous (traffic of fire trucks). Also, it obstructs the driveways of the emergency services.

According Wayfarer rules the rejection criteria is "Ineligible location, place, or object" according to 2 criteria :

    • "Location is unsafe, without pedestrian access"
    • "Location obstructs the driveways of emergency services or may interfere with the operations of fire stations, police stations, hospitals [...]"

of course you can always delete it. this is just a suggestion that there is another way in the game. it's up to you what you take

The Wayspot is for a basketball court/hoop which appears to be in the backyard of the fire station. It is located in the correct (physical) place. It would not be appropriate to move the Wayspot.

It has safe pedestrian access for the firefighters. Safe pedestrian access does not mean that all members of the public need to also have access.

If it is going to be removed, then it would be on the basis of obstructing emergency services. There are fire trucks visible in the parking lot adjacent to the basketball court, and I could foresee that people attempting to access the Wayspot without permission could potentially block these vehicles.
