As mentioned here;
The team were planning to have a Twitter account for Wayfarer. They now have an active one, which is the one we all found before.
The official Ingress account mentioned them, so even though no blue tick that’s the one.

As mentioned by @PkmnTrainerJ-ING, it’s finally here! Our very own Niantic Wayfarer Twitter page has shipped and we’re very excited about what it’ll do for our Explorer community! You can search for and follow us using our Twitter handle @NianticWayfarer.
By following our new Twitter account, you’ll be able to get Wayfarer updates such as major bug fixes, event announcements, engage with a larger Explorer community, and cool new programming coming this year. I think so. Usually they just tweet something and then shut off replies if that’s the case though. 😂
