Wayfarer Chat is broken

I get no prompt to type anything, and the three dots keep pulsing as if support is typing me a message, but it's been doing that for the past 8 hours now and I've not had any message. I've tried logging out, clearing my cache (both for Chrome and for my phone itself), and restarting my phone, all to no effect.
I've also had my partner login to his Wayfarer account on my phone (just out of curiosity to see if he also experienced the issue on my phone, as it was working fine for him on his own phone) and the issue persists with the added weirdness that he gets to see my broken support chat when he's logged into his account on my phone.
Any ideas on how to fix this? I'm on a OnePlus 6 running Android 11. My version of Chrome is 96.0.4664.104, which is the most up to date version I can get from the Google Play Store.

I realise that I seem to be the only person with this issue, but it's been 9 days now and I'm still unable to use the chat function. Any suggestions on how I can fix this @NianticTintino? Is there any way you can clear the chat from your side?
Just to say, after 10 days I've been able to resolve this and this can now be closed. In the unlikely event that anyone else experiences this issue, what fixed it for me was clearing all stored data for websites contain the string "webchat.helpshift". This is the client that Niantic use to provide the support chat, and it's not got a Wayfarer web address (hence when I cleared data relating to Wayfarer itself, the issue persisted).
