Release notes are quite short this time but still wanted to keep you all updated.
Nominations Page Updated
When you log into Wayfarer you’ll notice that the Nominations tab on the website is now called Contributions. Why the change, “nominations” doesn't fully capture what you can contribute. You are able to make Wayspot nominations, add photos, etc and in a couple of months, you'll be able to view all these contribution types in the Contributions page.
What do you all think? What contributions types would you like to see in this feature?

Already noticed that it said contributions like 20 min ago. Small but good change!
Very excited to be able to see other forms of contributions also within Wayfarer, instead of just constantly searching my inbox for the old confirmation emails.
Will Contributions include older edits and photos, or just those made from the time the feature goes live? Obviously it would be vastly preferable to have the full history including any resolved ones and especially any that are still pending.
Text and location edits as well, I assume?
Very excited to finally be able to track all those in one place. It'll be a huge quality of life improvement.
When is Soon for this update to see photos and edits on our Contributions? Next week? Wayfarer 4.6?
I hope it includes edits we've already submitted that haven't yet reached a decision. I think one of my photo submissions is stuck, so I'm curious if that'll be in my contribution management page.

Alright so I just checked in and I may have misled you all about timeline. I've edited the original but wanted to also update you all here, these contributions will be viewable in a few months, the team is still working on what exactly it'll look like but the overall message stands true that it'll show more than just nominations. I'll be sure to bring the team your suggestions:

Currently the rejection email for edits say nothing about being able to appeal them on the Wayforum. Could that be worked into the users to contributions management? Or even in the Support chat?

"A few months" is really vague, are you able to provide a more specific timeline? For instance, Q2/Q3/Q4 of 2022?
Oh, I've been wondering why my Wayfarer email confirmations for contributing new photos or text edits, have been so misleading. It's good to hear that there really will be a Contribution page on which to view them.
I don't really care about edits that were processed before this feature goes live but it would be VERY important to me to be able to track title, description, and location edits that are still in voting. Some of mine were submitted up to 3 years ago and still being processed so it would be great to know what was still in the works so I don't make duplicate edits. Thanks!
I'm sure it's already being worked on as part of feature, but the ability to sort by contribution type (Photo, Location, Text, etc) would be incredibly helpful.

Is it easy or possible to show the nomination position in queue?
So the agent may consider using an Upgrade to nomination that has a long way until it reaches "in voting".
I’d guess it’s possible but that Niantic won’t want to show as people will try and game the system.
Don`t get me wrong, Implementing Appeals and then not have them resolved in time AND not telling us when this will happen (will it?) is something that isnt funny anymore.
Yeah, exactly will we be able to upgrade other types of contribution? Especially edits that are in voting for years...
Unfortunately I can't at the moment but as we have a clearer timeframe to share I'll be sure to share it with you all.

Will Wayfarer 4.5 include the ability to manually apply upgrades (abolish automatic upgrades)?
