Water Refilling Station (Store)

In the Philippines or countries does not have clean drinking water from their faucets so they used to buy from Water Refilling Station. It is a store with purification machines and filters that provides clean water and sell it to the public. I am hoping that Water Refilling Station would be acceptable to the criteria since it is not available to the SPECIFIC LABEL.
Comments
Doesnt seem to match any of the main criteria. Not a great place for exploration/exercise/being social.
No, it doesn't eligible. Even we have many of this in Indonesia.
I don’t think this meets any criteria. What criteria do you think it meets?
Not eligible.
1* other rejection criteria.
Do people meet there to socialize and hang out?
Do people explore different spots in it, like a museum?
Is this place designed for exercise?
If the answer to all of the above is "no", then it doesn't meet any acceptance criteria.
Acceptance Criteria
Nominations and edit submissions must meet all of the following acceptance criteria: Must meet at least one of the three eligibility criteria
1. Must be a permanent physical, tangible, and identifiable place or object, or object that placemarks an area
2. Must be safe and publicly accessible by pedestrians (indoor or outdoor)
3. Must contain accurate information in the title, description, and photo
THIS MEETS ALL
It may be permanent with safe access and accurate info, but you've not said which of the 3 eligibility criteria it meets (and it does need to meet at least one of those). It doesn't look like a good place to explore or exercise, and I wouldn't have thought it was a good place to socialise, which would mean it isn't eligible.
You conveniently missed off this one, where it meets none.
Must meet at least one of the three eligibility criteria
This king of store is usually along the roads, so If players sees this store PokeStop, he or she jog or walk to go there, right?
That could then be applied to any generic store. It doesn’t meet criteria. Find something else to submit.
What I am pointing out here, clean drinking water is number ONE NECESSITY of human, Am I right? why we are not supporting this kind of business and apply in Pokemon as PokeStop? Why famous Café shop is valid?
But that doenst make things eligible. The store is generic and not special. So just because it has an important role doesnt mean its eligible. Traffics lights are also important in todays world, but are mass produced and therefore ineligible.
I mean, why Niantic does not make this store eligible? Why liquor bar and laundry shop are valid?
Let me re-asking what others have pointed out.
Is the place great for exploration? No, it's just a water refilling store.
Is the place great for exercise? No, it's just a water refilling store.
Are people visiting this place to socialize with others? No, it's just a water refilling store (and do not assume interaction between store owners and/or staffs and customers as 'socialize with others').
Therefore it won't be eligible because it doesn't meet those three eligibility criteria; thus doesn't meet acceptance criteria.
To address your points @imr0nin-PGO
Both of those are social activities. As for a laundromat, I don’t think they’d meet criteria, as you’re just throwing your stuff in and then waiting for it to be done. I haven’t seen any be nominated/accepted.
I know that. I am just saying Niantic should add more eligible waypoints. PoGo players are mostly kids and yet they promoting bars and cafes.
In my area, most players are adults. Also, you dont have to drink anything alcoholic in a bar. You can always take a softdrink or similar.
Maybe in your country, you have clean drinking waters in your faucets, not in other countries. We have difference. In our country, clean drinking water is priority. We lift the bottle gallon and go to the refilling station. It is considered exercise. You run, you walk, is considered exercise. Niantic should know the different culture of other countries.
There’s enough that’s eligible. Niantic doesn’t care about one subset of players on one specific game really, but there are playgrounds for kids and other items.
The Wayspots are used globally, across a wide range of games. No-one is saying “Yes small child, to get some items you need to go into this bar and order some alcohol.”
If they are playing Pokémon GO, they can spin it when they go past, or use whatever automatic stuff there is now available for doing it.
Ingress specifically says that no children may play the game.
“In my country, food is not available at home. People have to walk to the shop to get it, it is considered exercise so the store should be eligible.”
That’s the equivalent, so no. Just accept that it’s no good and find other stuff.
Im also walking or running home every day. Still, my house is not eligible.
You missed the first one:
But I have a feeling that you purposely left that one out because a water station clearly wouldn't meet any of the three eligibility criteria.
Then? I did say there are many of this in Indonesia. None of them are eligible.
If, by your logic, lifting bottle galons are considered as exercise, then you should consider that every activities you do are exercise. Why didn't you nominate grocery stores, office buildings, garbage bins or even your house?
Perhaps you should read back all criteria before your reviewing rating dropped so bad.
So is elimination. Are you going to try to nominate every public toilet based on your criteria?
Coal submitters:
Seems you messed a little bit with the workflow:
For example, a statue on a roundabout is technically eligible because it's visually unique, a piece of art and so on, but can't be accepted because it doesn't have a pedonal access.
I don’t want to lead OP on by trying to find a reason for this to be acceptable. These aren’t acceptable. The only reason I could even think of as an argument for these would be to try to compare them to a water tower but I’ll take a hard pass. I can’t find an argument. We even have places like this in the United States. They aren’t as common but I can’t find a reason for a POI to be here. Unless… if there’s artwork or the building has history that could help…. I think the pattern on the floor has a better chance of getting accepted than the water station though sadly
@imr0nin-PGO fellow filipino here. Are water stations a place of exploration/socialization/recreational activity? If said water station DOES meet these main eligibility criterion, then you won't have a problem with your contribution. Now that's clear, knowing the Philippines, there should be local town churches, plazas, playgrounds, etc... Maybe you could nominate them instead?
Edit: Just because a place of interest is available in the "What is it?" list doesn't mean it is automatically eligible... Just pointing out...
