Maybe faked Wayspot - need your opinion

Hello there!
I want to report a (maybe faked) submission and I hope here it's the right place to do it. As you can see in the both photos, the colours of the smileys are not matching... but the lighting isn't different. So i thought that this submission may be a fake. Furthermore, the smiley just looks... off. Idk how to describe it but I do not trust it.
What do you think?
Best wishes, Luigi! :-)

Looks fake to me but I can't explain it too, even the box is of somehow.
The contrast on the smiley absolutely looks artificial compared to the surroundings.
Would've probably been easier to tell from the full size photos (both main and supporting), but I assume you haven't saved those.
Yeah, I thought that as well. The side of the box is very dirty, but the front where the smiley is looks very clean and uniform in colour. It feels a bit suspicious.
Can you send links to the images? Then I could analyse.
I also think it looks suspicious, but regardless of that, is a painted smiley really interesting enough to be a waypoint? I think not.
it is fake. The Box is from somewhere else. It is photoshopped.
Another thing: You would never but such a big box next to the car-drive out of the house. You wouldnt be able to see whos walking on the side or driving on the road.
The box is 100% fake-- it's easy to tell by the texture of the shadow and the unnatural transition with the ground. In fact, I think I can see some really sloppy photoshopping in the shadow if I zoom in.
I did an analysis of a similar one a while ago. On both of them you can see how the shadows are weird and wrong: https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/26819/this-is-an-impressive-photoshop-fake
Oh, you're right! I was so focused on the smiley, I didn't even look at the box itself. I agree, it's 100% fake.
Uh, I don't really know how to do that. I hope this helps:
looks like fake. i wouldn aprove that.
I am pretty sure I have seen that same utility box with the same smiley face more than once in various locations.
Running it through photo forensic software it appears as if the box itself is photoshopped in, but I can not say for sure without having the original jpeg to use to analyze.
