Using Street View as Wayspot Nomination Photos

Ever since Pokemon Go allows players to submit Nomination photos from phone gallery, I occasionally stumble upon these nominations.
(1st pic)
This picture is submitted as the main Wayspot photo.
(2nd pic)
Picture taken from GSV, complete identical (green banner, wooden ladder, even shadow).
Even if it's a valid wayspot (Mosque), it uses a 3rd party photo (copyrighted materials = 1 star).
Does this feature also available in Ingress and HP:WU?
I hope Niantic address this problem, it's a good feature all right, it just need a few adjustments.

HP:WU has never had submission privileges, I think.
I've encountered it too, including some where the image included text from Google Maps. I 1* them for third party photo.
I hope majority of reviewers notice this type of nominations, and understand that using 3rd party copyrighted photos (Google Street View) count as ineligible photo (see Help - Rejection Criteria).
For now, I'd like to know whether I'm in majority or not. Gotta keep my Great Rating intact 😘
1* Third Party Images. But I doubt you'll earn agreement for rejecting this if Indonesian reviewers are tend to accepting instead.
Personally, I think being able to select photos from the phone gallery should be a privilege that is earned. Not a doubt in my mind that the majority of people who do use third-party photos are yet to have their first approval or are very new to the submitting process.
You know, get a couple of approvals to unlock the ability to nominate remotely or to use phone gallery, rather than give it to every single person and their dog. Yeah yeah, people have problems trying to take photos at first for whatever reason but I stand by this. Third party images, or even images of people's cars, homework or selfies are worthless.
* Update : I reviewed 3 consecutive nominations with said problems, ranging from nearby provinces to one province located ± 1.300km away (home location : Riau province, to Central Kalimantan).
Now I'm hesitant to do a review. Just like @patsufredo-PGO said :

It takes keen eyes to notice this subtle abuse, now I think of it, I might passed few nominations before realizing it.
Ingress allows you to select from the gallery too. HPWU closes on 31st of this month and never got nominations.
I’ve seen screenshots of Google Streetview with all the Android phone stuff in it too. Happens often. I just 1 star, third party photo, and carry on.
It's common even before you could get photo from the gallery in a legit way. I think it's pretty easy to spot them after a while.
Here's Exhibit A for that bit of cluelessness. I'm sure they thought nobody would figure out those were Google Maps screenshots...
Now that is one hilarious submission.
* Update. Some trainer(s) really is/are submitting nominations using screenshot GSV images. I received MORE of these nominations than ones with authentic images.
Can you spot Waldo the chicken?
If this goes on, I'd prefer Niantic to revert Pokemon Go submission to older version, no more Gallery access.
*Update : I found an accepted nomination that uses Street View image, while reviewing a nomination that is also abusing 3rd party image.
Thank you for reporting! We have reviewed the report and taken action on the reported Wayspots and the Wayfinders responsible according to our policies.
In my region, these photo stealers are not that stupid,
they know Google Streetview screenshots are very easy to recognize, (blur, google© watermark...etc)
So, they steal blogger's photo as cover
For example:
https://www.abic.com.tw/place/view/id/12595
They will cut the 3rd photo and submit like " observation deck and slide in park"
How can you distinguish that? I know this because i open the photo and find out the image size were not original-type mobile phone photo
I don't know how to do? If i choose Reject, then I will be downgraded in reviewers.... :(
When I suspect photos are stolen I right click on the image and search using Google Lens. I often find things like a nonexistent soccer field in a park that's using stolen photos from 2500 miles away.
