1. You nominate and we rated wayspots, not pokestops. Wayspot can become a pokestop upon approval if it meets certain conditions.
2. The wayfinder are not able to choose the nominations they will evaluate. Nominations for evaluation are shown to us automatically, based on the Wayfarer algorithm.
So what depends on how long will they be accepted?
It depends on the algorithm which is exactly unknown. Usually wayspots are assessed faster in areas where there are currently few of them, but this is not necessarily the case. However, you can significantly speed up the time of assessing your own nomination by uprading it (you will receive it for 100 similarities by evaluating the nominations of other people)
