You are putting way too much emotion/energy into only one nomination. Trust me, I've been there.
What would be the point of deleting the game? To make a statement? Why waste all that time and effort to get as far as you have in the game(s) just to throw it all away over just one submission? Getting to, at least, level 38 (in PoGo) takes time. Why make that all hinge on one submission?
Please don't be surprised (don't think you will be) when the nomination gets rejected again, especially if some of the same reviewers come across it again.
There are bigger and/or better battles to fight than that submission, certainly for not quitting altogether entirely. Why quit before you even get started? It's up to you, of course.
There is an unwritten learning curve when going about nominations. Thankfully a lot of people here can help explain most of it.
Yes, it can be frustrating, but it can also be rewarding. Going and exploring places is rewarding in and of itself. But we all understand the frustration that comes from rejections.
While one submission gets rejected, there are others that are usually solid to get accepted and learning the difference will help on the journey.
Thank you, I got this approved because you helped me. I used basically a copy and paste of your text, (the words were changed I guess by people voting on it), it’s no longer proper grammar but it is what it is. Finally, a Pokestop that’s safe to get to and off a road not heavily trafficked.
Agree to disagree. Thank you for letting my know my nomination was trash- appreciate it. Thanks for the POSitive feedback. Annoying as always, ha, good one (legitimately funny, may use that line at work).
Thanks to those that helped, nothing to those that discouraged. I got a Pokéstop approved, i’ve achieved my goal.
It was just frustrating that sooo many people on this forum wouldn’t say, “hey, see if you can get better lighting, they won’t approve that sign, but what about…” you know? This was legitimately a negative comment thread, more so a Debbie Downer. I’m still learning how to even use this website. So when people say a submission is “trash”, “just don’t with this”, “this is coal”… it can really turn newby’s away. I’ve played pokemon for a while, and my ultimate goal was to apply for a pokestop and get it approved. I did. I accomplished my goal and now I’m basically done!
Believe it or not… I reached out to the HOA of Arbor Place about that arch by the sign, they said a few years ago they planned to have it paved through there to connect the side walks, but they had to get approval from the county and city. They gave up after getting the go around with who would pay for it. It would be cool though, that arch is like 8’ tall and well maintained!
@Gendgi-PGO would never do you wrong. The dude is a great wayfinder, man! Don’t get discouraged by people being bold. I think that’s part of it & honestly sometimes it makes you open your eyes a little more. We have all learned something here, all of us. Don’t get discouraged & just take it all in man. I’m positive you will be fine. I’m positive you will more than likely even find more submittable stuff in your community or one near you. Good luck & congrats 🎉🎈🍾🎊
Sincere congratulations on the acceptance. I noticed a few similar areas nearby like this that could maybe be submitted, was well. The entrances to those wooded areas should have something distinguishing them - such as signage - and those boardwalks are interesting, too.
Peer community reviewers can't change the words while reviewing. It's possible you miss-typed (not anything to be upset about), but I'm wondering if @NianticAtlas could elaborate on this? Was the resubmit reviewed internally by Niantic and they possibly changed the wording?
If there is no sign for the trail but it shows up on the map as a solid green line, would you suggest users mentioning that in the supporting? I am asking because there are some trailheads near me such as that.
Providing a link to a city/county/etc website or even peer generated that maps trails and helps prove authenticity would probably be better. I have a few nominations for trail markers where the sign is hidden by tree coverage where I have referenced something like "Google maps shows the trail as going through this location" or similar, but I also was able to link a trail map and the nomination itself was a sign.
This question feels enough unique it would be better in a different thread than co-oping the original post.

See?! This helps!! I didn’t know a player has to be able to safely reach out and touch the object… THAT, is helpful. I appreciate it!

I wasn’t suspended. I only resubmitted because someone mentioned it being dark outside was “unnecessary”, I was still learning.

ok thats definitely a low quality photo also the description is terrible you mention "catching pokemon" that's an automatic rejection
