Sports field rejected as "Natural Feature"

Yulara Community Oval is a football/cricket oval. A poke stop there was rejected

How can a man-made sporting facility be rejected as a "Natural Feature". How is this one sports field any different to the many other sports field poke stops out there. How is it a "Natural Feature" more than the many parks poke stops. It Perfectly fits the Eligibility Criteria "A great place for exercise" - "Sport fields". It's also a "A great place to be social with others". It meets all the Acceptance Criteria and does not fit into any of the Rejection Criteria. Not that the claimed reason for rejection does either. Makes no sense to me.

Could anyone shed some light on why?
