This portal is in range of a players house and has been submitted under the pretence that there is a trail to follow here called the river Tweed Trail, as you'll see its called third along the route, there is no route it's simply made up.
The portal is being used to give one agent an unfair advantage and has been submitted dishonestly by a banned alt account, the account which created the portal is not the agent using the portal. I believe this wayspot should be removed as it is a false trail that visitors to the village would be disappointed to discover that there is no trail here and it leads no where. The wayspot is creating an unfair advantage for one person out of false information simply so they could hack the wayspot from their bedroom, which I believe goes against the goodwill of being able to submit wayspots, this is not the first fake trail portal to be removed from this location, a previous fake has been taken away. Thank you for your time.Stx

Even if it were not a fake trail, this should have been rejected as a generic "public footpath" marker, of which there are 1000s and 1000s in the UK. If it is a fake, then it needs removing.
That's totally what it is ****. Generic public footpath Marker, just let's you know that you can walk on the side of the field, it's just being used now as a field engine from someone's bedroom. No such trail as the river Tweed Trail. Borderline abuse of the system.
Thanks for the appeal, @Shottix-ING! After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to retire the Portal in question.
And the person submitting these fakes? Will they be "retired" too?
They were banned long ago. Not for this but for spoofing.
@NianticVK another fake trail marker has appeared in the exact same place please see photos attatched. If you require me to make a new post please let me know
Sorry for the delay but yes we had "retired" the person involved in the abuse as well. By the way, we had taken action on 4 Wayspots.
Outstanding. You need to be a bit more forthcoming, in non player specific terms, about things like these sorts of "retirement". It might give some of your Wayfarers some hope that "crime doesn't pay" and that the effort put into trying to keep the playing field fair is worthwhile.
