We're excited to announce that for the first time ever, Wayfarer will be at the in-person Community Day this month! We are super excited about getting to meet current Explorers and bring on new ones who are just as passionate about exploration as we all are. While there are many locations that will host in-person events (check out the map here), the Wayfarer team will only be at the Dallas, TX, USA location on Saturday, April 23, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
What will this look and feel like?
Great question! So this will be the very first time our current Wayfarer team will be joining Community Day, so for this round, we’re excited to meet our Explorer community in the area and spread the word about Wayfarer! Don’t worry, if you can’t make it to this one, we will be attending more live events this year.

Oh, I should have also asked: will you or any other familiar (staff) names from the forums be there?
To be clear, this is for not Pokémon GO Community Day, rather a Niantic Community Day event, that happens to align on the Pokémon GO Community Day.

Yea snap noticed the branding on the video was more neutral than I initially thought. I stopped watching it the first time after seeing the first Pika hat.
You know you're an important part of the community when there's no events in the major cities closest to you.

If this had happened last month when the onsite location was near Seattle I would have attended but I will not be traveling to Dallas for Community Day.

LA is one of the IRL locations. If Wayfarer makes its way down there I'll be sure to hit you up!
Hey @NianticTintino way way back there was an event called OPR Live. Would there be a Wayfarer Live equivalent if you keep attending the Community Day?

The last time there was a Niantic Community Day in Dallas, the Brand Ambassadors had no idea what Ingress was.
It will be three hours, 2-5. Of course, what you do before and after that is up to you. Most of Dallas with be Enlightened, despite what Eigood has to say about it. Plus, you'll get a chance to talk Ingress with serious old timers...
Any comment about the Wayfarer Live (Formerly OPR Live) medal in Ingress and whether or not this event might relate to it?
